Open wp-content/plugins Folder Put:

Folder: wp-email

Activate WP-EMail Plugin Go to 'WP-Admin -> E-Mail -> E-Mail Options' Under E-Mail Settings, modify the setting Method Used To Send E-Mail accordingly. If the method is wrong, no email will get sent. You Need To Re-Generate The Permalink (WP-Admin -> Settings -> Permalinks -> Save Changes) Refer To Usage For Further Instructions

Deactivate WP-EMail Plugin Open wp-content/plugins Folder Put/Overwrite:

Folder: wp-email

Delete this folder if exists:

Folder: email

Activate WP-EMail Plugin Go to 'WP-Admin -> E-Mail -> E-Mail Options' and restore all the template variables to Default You Need To Re-Generate The Permalink (WP-Admin -> Settings -> Permalinks -> Save Changes) Refer To Usage For Further Instructions

General Usage

Open wp-content/themes/<YOUR THEME NAME>/index.php

You may place it in single.php, post.php, page.php or theloop.php also.

Find:

<?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

Add Anywhere Below It:

<?php if(function_exists('wp_email')) { email_link(); } ?>

If you DO NOT want the email link to appear in every post/page, DO NOT use the code above. Just type in [email_link] into the selected post/page content and it will embed the email link into that post/page only.

The first value is the text for emailing post.

The second value is the text for emailing page.

Default: email_link('', '')

Alternatively, you can set the text in 'WP-Admin -> E-Mail -> E-Mail Options'.

EMail Stats (Outside WP Loop)

To Display Most E-Mailed Posts Use:

The first value you pass in is what you want to get, 'post', 'page' or 'both'.
The second value you pass in is the maximum number of post you want to get.

Default: get_mostemailed('both', 10);

To Display Total E-Mails Sent Use:

To Display Total E-Mails Sent Successfully Use:

To Display Total E-Mails Sent Unsuccessfully Use:

To Hide Remarks When Viewing Email Logs In WP-Admin

Open wp-email.php Find:

define('EMAIL_SHOW_REMARKS', true);

Replace:

define('EMAIL_SHOW_REMARKS', false);

Note

WP-Email will load 'email-css.css' from your theme's directory if it exists.

If it doesn't exists, it will just load the default 'email-css.css' that comes with WP-Email. This will allow you to upgrade WP-Email without worrying about overwriting your email styles that you have created.

To change the background color of the popup window:

Open wp-email-popup.php Find:

/* background: #ffffff; */

Replace:

background-color: #ffffff;

Where #ffffff should be your background color for the popup window.
