Micky Ward Movie Gets Ready to Shoot In October. Will it Shoot In Lowell?

After two years in development, Mark Wahlberg and Darren Aronofsky’s long gestating boxing biopic on underdog champion Irish Micky Ward is finally going to begin shooting in October, the star told MTV News.

“I’ve been training for two years now. I’m ready,†he said. “I want to look like a champ, not a chump.â€

But Mark Wahlberg has more than just a few moves to his credit these days, he’s also got a healthy dose of fighting words for anybody who thinks that what the world needs least right now is another boxing movie.

Yes, there have been many classic movies to center on the sport, Wahlberg admits, and, yes, he told us last year, he’d of course like it to hold up to “Raging Bull,†the undisputed champion of the genre.

Sunday Afternoon Activities

So what are you doing this weekend. Well we’re sitting around all day just cleaning the house rather than going out and having fun in this crappy Massachusetts weather.

Down But Not Out

If you are an avid reader of the Kensavage.com site then you may have noticed a period of time when the site was not up and running. Basically it got hacked. DDOS via ssh for about 3 weeks and they eventually took it down. Once it was down it was exploited and a got access to the site somehow.

Whatever it’s locked down tight now and I want to thank the guys at the best web hosting company out there Steadfast Networks.

Without warning our site was taken down for a few days from a sucker punch to our server. I’m here to tell you that we were down but not out!

There was an attempt made on the life of our server. It is with much chagrin that I must tell you that this hack into our server hit us with the old one two. We were stunned and our legs buckled for a little bit. Hey, it happens.

But we have finally gotten back up, put our mouth piece back in, and we’re ready to head back out there.

Ding! We’re coming out fighting tougher and more exciting than a Micky Ward fight.

Maybe We Can Lower Gas Prices If They Won’t
