Welcome to my personal website!

John B. Abela is the owner of "For Christ's Ministry Network" (4cm.com), a ministry devoted to ministering to pastors and churches throughout the English speaking world. He has been a software engineer for over ten years and is the largest developer of Assemblies of God based websites in the world. (Computer software engineers apply the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that enable computers to perform their many applications.) His present online ministries include ChristianBlog.Com (the largest Christian based blog website on the internet), AssemblyOfGodJobs.Com (the world's largest Assemblies of God website helping pastors and church find each other), plus dozens of other very popular online ministries. Mr. Abela has traveled throughout the United States ministering to churches and Christian ministries and presently resides in the beautiful and majestic Eureka California, and can be found online at JohnAbela.Com

If you are here for any of the ministry-based websites I operate (such as Assembly of God Jobs Online, ChristianBlog.Com, etc., I am excited you have found your way to my personal website. However, please be aware that using my personal website in an attempt to contact "technical support" for any of my 80+ domains... well, that is not the purpose of this website. Quite simply, I operate way to many websites to manage each and every one of them on a day-to-day basis. Please, contact the technical support department of each of the websites if you need any assistance!

If you are here because I am a network administrator for your ministry, please contact your in-house technical support staff for any assistance you might need. I am only able to deal directly with the in-house tech-agent of each facility... and they know how to get ahold of me ;)

If you are interested in obtaining my services for software or website development: please note that I no longer am willing to do "freelance" work, nor "side-job projects" for anybody. I have spent the last seven-plus years building up a massive amount of websites
(well over 100 domains) that I now maintain on a full-time basis, and side-work is just not possible to squeeze into my schedule.... sorry :( However, I know some of the best of the best, so contact me if you are willing to spend some serious money, and I'll get you hooked up with them... but, they aren't cheap ;)

If you are here for phpBB related issues: please know that while I am a co-founder of phpBB, I am no longer involved in that Open Source project. I gave an amazing number of years of supporting, administrating, moderating, and creating and supporting modifications/hacks to this project. I, like many others, just got burned out. My shoutouts to James, Paul, Frank, Patrick, and the many others who've helped me make phpBB the #1 php-based open source discussion forum in the world!

If you are interested in having me speak at any events or meetings you are planning, please contact me with the details of the event, the date and location of the event, the payment and accommodations you give to your speakers, and lastly... I need at least 60-days notice as my schedule stays pretty packed these days.

Oh, for those of you wondering... the picture at the top of the website was taken near my house ;)
