Academic Program
Upon completion of the JRLC program, students will receive an Associate of Arts in Pastoral Ministries. This degree is fully-accredited through our partnership with CBC by the Higher Learning Commission of North Central Association and the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
Leadership Practicums
Every JRLC student has the exciting opportunity to serve in several capacities throughout the ministry of JRA. In addition to contributing to the broader ministries at JRA, the students will select a leadership practicum. The leadership practicums are designed so that students experience the James River culture in a specific ministry offering as well as equip them with the fundamentals required to lead in that field. Each JRLC student will have 15-20 hours per week of life changing ministry experience at JRA.
