Our desire is to provide students with a strong biblical education combined with practical experience in an atmosphere that is conducive to leadership development. Academic
At JRLC we are committed to challenging our students through academic excellence and helping them succeed. All classes take place on the James River campus and are taught by select professors, ensuring a quality learning experience for JRLC students. At the end of the 2-year program, students will obtain an Associate of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministries. Through our partnership with Central Bible College, all classes are fully-accredited, allowing students to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministries in two years. For more information about the academics at JRLC and course descriptions, click here.
Leadership Training
James River Assembly is a church driven by a passion to raise a generation of young leaders. During their time at JRLC, students will have the opportunity to learn from inspiring leaders as well as intensive coursework. In addition, the fast-paced, hands-on ministry experience gives students the chance to participate in the leadership culture of JRA. Ministry Experience
James River Assembly is an exciting and blessed church built on the belief that the best is yet to come. The JRLC students learn about ministry and leadership in real time through hands-on ministry experience at JRA. In addition to receiving a broad base of ministry experiences throughout the church, the students are able to choose a specific Leadership Practicum in their area of ministry interest. Dear Students,
Whether a leader is born or made, he can only go so far without purposeful training. The James River Leadership College was established to strengthen the local church by developing leaders in a dynamic and practical way. With the partnership between James River Assembly of God in Ozark, Missouri and Central Bible College, the James River Leadership College offers an Associate of Arts Degree in Pastoral Ministries. This degree, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Accreditation Association as well as the Association of Biblical Higher Education, provides students with the academic start to compelling ministry preparation. In addition, students are active in practical ministry offered by the church in order to apply what is learned in the classroom.
