A.    The mission of the Iowa Network:  The Iowa Ministry Network exists to equip and encourage Pentecostal churches and leaders to fulfill the Great Commission.

B.    Our vision: We build Spirit-filled leaders to minister to, and lead, Pentecostal churches.

 A.    Our mission: To equip and encourage the Assemblies of God pastors and churches of Iowa to fulfill the Great Commission through Assemblies of God world missionaries.

We see 100% of our churches making our Iowa Assemblies of God world missionaries a top priority by committing to financially support each of them by District Council, 2009.

We see our pastors and churches partnering together to do a major kingdom-advancing project with one of Iowa’s world missionaries every two years.

We see our world missionary families being loved, cared for, prayed over, and encouraged by the pastors and lay persons of our churches (i.e., cards, letters, gifts for missionaries and children, e-mails, personal visits, etc.).

We see our responsibility being to get our world missionaries to the field as quickly as possible and keep them there.

We see at least one new fully-appointed career world missionary unit coming out of the Iowa Ministry Network each year.

We see an atmosphere in the Iowa Ministry Network where pastors are equipped to lead missions in their local churches and where people are called by God to become missionaries.

 A.    A World Missions Leadership Team (WMLT), consisting of ten to twelve individuals (not including several spouses), has been appointed by the Iowa World Missions Director to form the leadership team.

1.    These ten to twelve individuals are either credential holders or lay persons who are active in an Iowa Assemblies of God church. 

2.    Qualifications and responsibilities are outlined in the World Missions Leadership Team Ministry Description.

B.    We are fully submitted to the leadership and vision of our Superintendent, Tom Jacobs.
