HonorBound Ministry Information

HonorBound is a National Assemblies of God program designed for men.  A common motivation in this ministry from the national level to the local level is to provide practical avenues for men in our churches to grow spiritually and then to become vitally involved in ministry.

Mission Statement:

The Iowa HonorBound program exists to cooperate with local churches to equip and encourage men in the state of Iowa to become influencers in their world for the cause of Christ.

We will accomplish this goal by providing:

Training for leaders to help develop the HonorBound Program locally
Blue Print Training
Dad's Coaching Clinic
Preparing to Win
Resource clearing house for quality men's literature and discipleship material
Annual conferences to motivate men to great spiritual commitment
Opportunities for ministry and missions experiences domestically and internationally
Sectional breakout conferences throughout the year provide continued training for leadership
Opportunities to be involved in Light for the Lost as Councilmen

Our National office has a great number of quality materials for HonorBound Programs developed by our national staff and with a cooperative effort of Promise Keepers.  Check out the many studies that are available on-line at:  http://www.honorbound.ag.org/

One Message. Many Languages.

Light For The Lost (LFTL) serves to “empower men to provide God’s Word to every person on the planet.”

Providing diversified resources such as audio, visual and printed materials, LFTL has one guiding principle: That all Light For The Lost assistance must be to provide resources directly related to evangelism.

LFTL is a men’s ministries initiation, administered by National Men’s Ministries, but fulfilled by the church as a whole. Through the generous giving of churches, individuals and businesses, LFTL is assisting missionaries and missions projects all around the world with evangelistic resources to tell His story.

*Light For The Lost is a volunteer, charitable ministry of the Assemblies of God Men’s Ministries, operated under the supervision of the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

There are three very important ways to be involved with this mission arm of Men’s Ministries.

1.  Become a Light For The Lost Councilman by pledging to help support the ministry with a regular monthly gift of at least $15
2.  Pledge money to provide funds for the production of literature and media to promote the Gospel around the world.
3.  Look for opportunities in your area to attend a Light for The Lost Fund raising event near you.  That may be in the form of a banquet or special service dedicated to raising money for Light For The Lost.

You can check the National Men’s Ministries Web site at http://lftl.ag.org/getinvolved/ for additional information and applications for Councilmen.

Light for the Lost

Light For The Lost Season is upon us. We are asking each church to consider making Light For The Lost a part of their regular Missions Giving. This can be easily done in a short 10 minute Sunday window with pledges for the following categories.
