What is the 2020 Vision?

Our God-given 2020 Vision (to start 2000 churches by the year 2020) is what propels our church into the new millennium. It is the driving force behind the establishment and support of Bible colleges at home and abroad, where pastors are being trained who will, upon graduation and ordination, go on to plant the churches.

The picture that you are seeing was taken while our team was driving through the streets of Delhi. As we stopped at a light, I saw a pig drinking from an open sewer. This scene is not unusual in India. However the next scene gripped my spirit. A homeless family was encamped near the sewer, one of the children left the family unit and headed towards the sewer. It shocked me as she knelt down to drink from the body of water that was full of waste and disease.

This gripping image represents the standard of living for thousands in Delhi that live on the streets and in slums. ICLV has partnered with Pastor Ivan and his wife, Nini to start an orphanage, school, a school of ministry and slum schools. These children desperately need our help. To sponsor one of the 28 children in our orphanage please commit $30.00 a month. In order to train a student for ministry it cost $50.00 a month. To help with our slum schools that feed and educated over 1,000 students it cost $12.00 per child per month. Can you image how children like this little girl will feel being fed and educated five days a week? We also send a medical van on a monthly basis to help care for them when they are sick and diseased.
