Sermon Title: “House of Prayer”
Text: 2 Chronicles 7:11-16
1. We become an open target for Satan to attack.
2. We lose sense of direction.
3. We lose sense of who we are.
1. Prayer will develop a man and women of God.
2. Prayer will make the impossible become possible.
3. Prayer will cause a move of God like we’ve never imagined.
1. When we reestablish prayer in our lives God will reestablish His blessings.
2. When we reestablish prayer in our lives then we will cause an impact.

SERMON TITLE: A Steadfast Spirit
SERMON TEXT: Numbers 13:1-33
6 characteristics of a steadfast spirit:
1. He is anchored deep in God the rock. (2 Samuel 22:2-3)
A. A part time relationship with Jesus is not sufficient. (Luke 6:46-49)
B. Caleb had a sure foundation
2. He exercises his faith. (Hebrews 11:6)
A. One’s faith in the Lord must come from the heart.
B. It must not be a faith that retreats, backs up, or runs.
3. He keeps his inner man built up. (Ephesians 3:16)
A. When we are born again, the Holy Ghost comes to live in our spirit. (John 14:17)
B. Man is an eternal spirit. (Proverbs 20:27)
4. He maintains a sweet intimacy with the Lord. (Joshua 5:14)
A. This contributed to Caleb’s steadfastness.
B. Caleb understood that living close to the glory made him the man he was.
5. He must have endurance in his life. (Matthew 24:13)
A. Endurance – Ability to last, continue or remain. The ability to stand pain, distress and fatigue.
B. Through it all Caleb endured (Joshua 14:6-11)
6. He must stay faithful. (I Corinthians 1:9)
A. Stay in the race. (Hebrews 12:1)
B. God is able to keep you from falling. (Jude 24)
