The Purpose of 252.kids Ministries
Luke 2:52 tells us, "And Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and with man." The purpose of 252.kids Ministries is to not only lead boys and girls to Christ, but to help them grow in that relationship the same way Jesus grew in His relationship with His Heavenly Father."

The 8 goals of 252.kids are to reach kids and raise them up to be:

(Grades 1-6) Meets Sundays @ 8:30 am & 10:45 am in the Student Center.
An explosive worship service designed to help boys & girls in grades 1-6 develop a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ through various methods:

PRESCHOOL MINISTRIES
252.kids PRESCHOOL
(Ages 4-6 yrs.) Meets Sundays @ 8:30 am & 10:45 am in Rooms 301 & 302 in the Family Life Center.
Music! Crafts! Stories! Puppets! Characters! These are fun-filled, Bible-based tools we use to help 4, 5,& 6 year olds build a strong foundation for their relationship with God. Our wonderful staff of dedicated and fruitful volunteers work together as they strive to build every preschooler's faith, character, and self-esteem. This is a place your preschooler will want to be!
252.kids JR.
(Ages 2-3 yrs.) Meets Sundays (all services) and Wednesday PM Service in rooms 202, 203, & 204 of the First Assembly Day Care Building.
252.kids JR. is designed to help boys and girls learn the very basics about God and their relationship with Him. Teaching focuses on loving God, loving others, and basic Bible characters through music, crafts, learning centers, and story time.The children also earn badges by memorizing Bible verses, bringing offerings, and bringing their Bible to church.
Small Steps Nursery
(Ages Birth - 23 mos.) Meets Sundays (all services) and Wednesday PM Service in rooms 803, 804, & 805 of the sanctuary. Nursery services are available during all church-wide events.
Babies are special here at First Assembly! Our nurseries provide a great atmosphere of love, praise, and teaching. You can trust our staff of loving, caring workers and parent volunteers. We believe the nursery should be a pleasant and enjoyable place for your child, and that's why they are so bright, clean, and well-staffed. We realize the importance of quality child care. Your entire family is very valuable to us, and we want to bless you every opportunity we have!
BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade)
This vital missions program is an important part of helping our children fulfill the Great Commission. Each month the children are presented a country for which to pray. Every Sunday morning in the 252.kids church service, our children have the opportunity to give to missions to help missionaries around the globe spread the love of Christ to other children.
ROYAL RANGERS
(Grades K5-12) Meets Wednesdays at 7 pm in the Ranger Building.
The mission of Royal Rangers is to Reach, Teach, and Keep Boys for Christ. Royal Rangers is the ultimate indoor and outdoor adventure for boys! This discipleship ministry to boys in grades K-12 motivates boys spiritually through Bible study, Scripture memorization, & devotionals. Boys are strengthened mentally by an advanced award-based weekly program. The boys progress physically by participation in age-specific activities and recreation. Your son will enjoy camping trips, crafts, training in outdoor survival techniques, field trips, learning new skills, and HAVING FUN! To help develop their social skills and awareness, the boys are introduced to church, community, and nature-related activities. Finally and best of all, your son will enjoy learning how to have a personal relationship with the Master Ranger, Jesus Christ!
Boys are divided into 4 age-specific groups:
Ranger Kids (Grades K5-2)
Discovery Rangers (Grades 3-5)
Adventure Rangers (Grades 6-8)
Expedition Rangers (Grades 9-12)
Currently, our Royal Ranger program ranks sixth in the nation. We are excited about the future of this program. One thing is for certain- our Royal Ranger Ministry will build your son's faith and character as he builds his relationship with God, his commanders, and the other boys!
MISSIONETTES

Meets Wednesdays @ 7 pm in the Missionette Building.
Missionettes Girls Club offer many learning opportunities for girls ages 3-14. Through games, crafts, Bible stories, life application studies, Scripture memorization, prayer, and service projects, your daughter will be mentored to become the young woman of God He intends for her to become. Your daughter will experience fun, love, acceptance, and sound Bible teaching as she participates in this ministry to girls!
Girls are divided into 5 age-specific groups. Each group has its own motto, plege, colors, and Scripture verse:
Rainbows (Boys & Girls ages 3 & 4)
Daisies (Kindergarten 5)
Prims (Grades 1-2)
Stars (Grades 3-5)
Friends (Grades 6-8)
JUNIOR BIBLE QUIZ
Melissa Henderson - Coordinator
A discipleship ministry in which boys & girls in grades 1-6 learn Bible facts and principles through short answer and Scripture memorization. Teams compete regionally each month during the school year.
CHILDREN'S OUTREACH MINISTRY

Meets Sundays at 9:45 am in the Ranger Building, Sundays at 10:45 in the Student Center, and Wednesdays at 7pm in the Student Center.
Every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, our buses go out to several major communities in and around Griffin and come back filled with boys, girls, and teenagers. This ministry is helping us fulfill the Great Commission by meeting the spiritual and relational needs of these young people.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Every year we host big events to minister to our church families and the families of our community. These events utilize inflatables, games, food, family activities, prizes/giveaways, and much worker participation.
