Maybe you don't realize it, one can hold the position that pastors investigating potential members is offensive without being a troublemaker. I'm not a troublemaker, I'm a leader in our church.

07-24-2008, 08:24 PMI actually found this thread helpful in a few ways. The devil has been trying to get me to leave our current church for many reasons, and I was listening to that sly fox. But, I think I see that just leaving a church can really hurt people who reached out and started relationships with you. They put some trust out and when they see you run away it hurts them.
I still think the whole calling thing is dead wrong, but I also see a side of pastoring I never saw.
FYI - I am not water5, I pee standing up thank you.
