First Assembly Adds 3rd Sunday
Morning Service!

Growth has been a constant the past few years at First Assembly as
God has continuously blessed us to be able to reach so many families
with the love of Christ. On January 6, 2008, we began our new
Sunday Morning Service Schedule: 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30. We had
an amazing attendance that weekend as 634 excited children celebrated
the New Year "High Voltage style."

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions regarding the changes
and how they affect Children's Ministries:

The Grove & The Backyard

Q: Is The Grove and The Backyard available all three services?
        A: Yes

Q: What changes will there be to drop-off and pick-up procedures?
     A: The Grove will not change any drop-off or pick-up procedures. If your child attends The Backyard, you will now drop them off at “The Treehouse” and pick them up across the hall in “The Sandbox.”

Q: Does it matter which service I attend Sunday School?
     A: No, your child will remain in The Grove or The Backyard for the entire time you are here at First Assembly each Sunday Morning.

The MAC

Q: Is there a SLAM service during all three worship times?
    A: Yes, there is a SLAM service at 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30.

Q: When my child checks in, will they go to SLAM or Sunday School first?
    A: When a child checks in, they will immediately go to SLAM, no matter what time they check in.

Q: When will my child attend Sunday School?
     A: We have Sunday School classes at 10:00 and 11:30. If your child arrives at 8:30, they will attend SLAM at 8:30 and then attend Sunday School at 10:00. If your child arrives at 10:00 they will attend SLAM at 10:00 and then attend Sunday School at 11:30. If your child arrives ata 11:00, they will attend SLAM at 11:00 and will not attend Sunday School.

Q: Does it matter which service I attend Sunday School?
     A: No, your child will remain in The MAC for the entire time you are here at First Assembly each Sunday Morning.

Recent News:

Children Raise $3,500 For Church Plant!

Recently, the High Voltage Kids worked for three months to earn enough
money to plant a church in Madagascar. Our church planting pastor,
Jean Roger, is now going to be able to build a building in the heart of the
rain forests of Madagascar to reach hundreds of people for Christ.

We are very proud of the kids. Many of them washed cars, sold their
toys on E-bay, had garage sales, and did neighborhood projects in
order to raise money for this missions project! Way to go, kids!

Candy Factory a HUGE Success!

On October 31, 2007 First Assembly had the largest one-night event in our history!
Over 5,300 people went through the Candy Factory and had the time of their lives!

Thanks to all of the Floogles, Parking Team, Performers, and workers who made it
