Pastor Alex Bryant is a 1995 graduate of Evangel University, where he was a four-year football letterman. He had the unique privilege of being on the Evangel team that played the first three exhibition football games in China (1991). Upon graduating from EU with degrees in Business Management and Biblical Studies, Alex began a 9-year career in sales at MCI Telecommunications.

Working at MCI taught Alex invaluable lessons on leadership and excellence. As a sales manager he earned the respect of his superiors, employees and peers and was known as a great leader and a committed Christian. People respected his stand on tough issues such as social drinking and personal integrity in the corporate environment. Alex left MCI to pursue his calling into full-time ministry in the summer of 2003.

Along with his wife, Angela, Alex served as residence hall director at Evangel University. Spending time living among the students gave Alex fresh insight into their perspective and the challenges facing college students today. Humor and a direct, in-your-face approach are Alexâ€™s secret weapons in reaching out to todayâ€™s youth. In return he earns their trust and respect and the opportunity to speak into their lives.

Alex was a part of James River Assembly in Ozark, Missouri, from September of 1992 until relocating to Fort Myers. During that time he served in numerous roles, including youth leader, usher, choir member, Adult Bible Fellowship teacher and, most recently, as assistant youth pastor for two years.

Pastor Alex and Angie have three handsome sons, Trey, Michael and Mason.
