The ancient building Casale, which names the surrounding area, is located just two steps outside the walls of San Gimignano; the property was acquired by Riccardo Falchini in 1964, a descendant from an ancient Florentine family of viticulturist and winemakers, that since 1626 produced wine for Cosimo de' Medici. Situated 300 meters above sea level, it extends over a landscape of green rolling hills, many hectares of which are of specialized vineyards.>>
