Parise makes another deal with the Devils.
The New Jersey Devils re-signed Zach Parise to a $12.5 million, four year contract yesterday.
In just his second NHL season, Parise proved himself with 31 goals for the Devils last year. "Over the past two seasons, Zach has established himself as one of the outstanding young stars in the NHL," The CEO of New Jersey Devils stated. "We are delighted he has re-signed a multi-year deal with us."
Parise had 62 points in the played 82 games. He finished off with seven goals and three assists in 11 playoff games. New Jersey will need Zach to replace a forward, Scott Gomez, to the New York rangers in free agency.
"I'm excited, it's definitely a weight off my shoulders so I don't have to worry about it and can just relax and get ready for the season," Zach Parise reports.
