You must first download the iPhoto plugin here.

After installing the plugin, open iPhoto and select one or more photos in iPhoto (you can choose more than one by holding down the shift key as you click). Then, go to the File menu (or the Share menu in iPhoto 5) and choose the "Export…" option. Click on the "Facebook" tab to access the Exporter plugin, and follow the directions on the screen.
You must synchronize the iPhoto Exporter plugin with your Facebook account by "logging in" to Facebook from the plugin. On the "Facebook" tab of the "Export" window, click on the "Login" button at the upper left corner. This will launch a new window in your Internet browser that lets you log in.

Once you have successfully logged in from the plugin, the button will change to "Logout." If you need to switch Facebook accounts, or if you are having trouble exporting photos to your account, click on this button to log out, and then you may log in again.
At this time you cannot upload photos directly to a group or event from iPhoto. Please keep in mind you can always move photos from an album to a group or event by clicking "Add Photos" and then selecting the "Add from My Photos" tab.
The Facebook Exporter plug-in for iPhoto requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later (PowerPC or Intel) and iPhoto 5 or later. Without these specifications (or better) the plug-in will not work.

If you meet these specifications and are still having trouble installing, it may be a problem with your unzipping application. Please make sure you are running the latest version of Stuffit (11 and up). Alternatively, right click (or control click) on the downloaded installer and select open with Installer (BomArchiveHelper.app), then run through the installation process as normal.
To uninstall the Facebook plugin for iPhoto please follow these directions:
Right Click on iPhoto in the applications folder, and select "Show Package Contents" Under Contents/PlugIns you will see Facebook.iPhotoExporter Quit iPhoto if it is running, then move Facebook.iPhotoExporter to the trash.

When you restart iPhoto, the Facebook tab should no longer appear under export options.
The latest version (7.1.3) of iPhoto may cause general problems with the exporter.

If you are using an earlier version of iPhoto, please try to uninstall the exporter and reinstalling it.

Please go here to download the latest version of the iPhoto Exporter.
The latest version (7.1.3) of iPhoto may cause problems with exporting photos with tags.
