iPod nano 4G leaked in actual, factual, really-real spy photo {Engadget}

Sep 5th 2008 11:47PM Actually, I don't think it has a curved screen. The body is obviously curved, but I think the screen is flat. There were some mock ups floating around earlier this week that looked a lot like this and had a flat screen. Kinda hard to tell from the picture, but as a curved screen would really prove problematic, I think it's most likely flat. And I think this is the real deal. Just a hunch. All things being equal, I never really liked the fatty (and it's crooked screen issue) and I'm glad to see them heading back to the "traditional" nano dimensions. I must say, I do like the orange. If they up the capacity to 16gb, I think I may have to get one.

Nintendo says its "working on a solution" to Wii storage issue {Engadget}

Jun 18th 2008 9:54PM ...also, just because they say they won't be issuing any hardware doesn't mean they won't enable external storage through usb, it just means they won't be selling compatible hard drives or flash drives. Nintendo, while you're at it, how about a video channel with decent codec support to go along with external storage. Just a thought.

Nintendo says its "working on a solution" to Wii storage issue {Engadget}

Jun 18th 2008 9:49PM I'm really bummed to hear that VC titles aren't linked to your Nintendo account, only to your console. My understanding, when I began purchasing them, was that if you had a Nintendo account they would be linked to your account as well. I'm assuming if your console breaks under warranty and they have to replace it, they would allow you to somehow transfer VC titles to your replaced unit. Honestly, I'm a little upset. Hopefully when they do release a new console, they'll offer some sort of option for transferring VC titles, even just once. At least with Apple and iTunes they offer a way to reset the DRM on your songs so you can transfer them to your new PC. I probably won't be buying anymore VC titles after hearing this. I have no problem paying Nintendo to relive my youth a little, but paying over and over is a little silly. May as well go to an arcade.
