WordPress Plugins worth having 8:26 pm

Since I’m currently redoing this site, I thought it would be nice to share some plugins I’m using (or planning on using), and for you to do the same.

One’s I’m currently using:

I’ve also been a big fan of Steve Smith’s Tiger Admin plugin, though I’m not currently using it now that I’ve upgraded to WP 2.0. I did try installing Tiger Admin 2.01, but something went wrong and I haven’t tried again yet.

Ones I’m planning on using:

Gravatars Any other good ones you guys share with me

So, for those of you that use WordPress–what are some good plugins that you like?

Thanks for sharing. I was actually looking for one of those in particular the other day, now I don’t have to find it.

Andrew, thanks for the links…some great plugins there.

These are the plugins I use on my site [with about 5 more to be added in a few days] They extend functionality a lot without having to write loads of code. I have gone in and changed some code but they were all working fine “out of the box”. All of them downloaded from the codex.

Official Comments! I’ve always liked to see how the author responds to each comments on blogs and that sure makes it easier to spot them.

@Acidsmile: Thanks, I’ll have to look at some of those.

@Oliver: Sweet! I’ve been wanting to do that…I always like it on other blogs as well so I can read what the author is saying.

EditorMonkey, that is a good plugin.
EditorMonkey for WordPress 2.0 replaces the boring, primitive built-in WYSIWYG editing interface with a super-charged interface using your choice of TinyMCE or FCKeditor.

I use Editor Monkey and i like it. http://www.rajprasad.net/plugins/editormonkey/

[...] Some of these plugins look interesting on Elliot Swan’s wordpress plugins worth having blog. But still working my way through understanding what most of them are! [...]

Say Something.

I'm a nice guy, so I'll let you use basic XHTML such as <a>, <strong>, <em>, <blockquote>, and <code>. If you're trying to share some code with us, just make sure to run it through Postable first.
