The Call From Within Series #4 - Bigger Than Laziness

I saw in high school how God brought forth that which I was made to be even though I did not think I was qualified for it. Then I moved to college and again that calling came out.
I had just finished leading one of the most successful high school bible clubs in the history of the city, and wanted to take it easy. So I went to ASU and became involved in a Christian ministry called Chi Alpha. My desire was to sit back in the pews and be just a member.
But like before, that which I was created for, to bring meaning to everyone around me, would not sit idly by. By my senior year, I found myself as one of the main leaders of that group as well. A group that we helped transform into one that would bring excitement and purpose to college students.
I thought I could sit back and my calling would sit right next to me on the sidelines. But it was so much bigger than laziness. It would not sit back and let me ignore it. I was made to bring meaning to people and that call began taking shape because it would not let me slack off.
