ECPA Marketing Survey Report Now Available

ECPA's first-ever comprehensive member-based Marketing Survey Report is now available. The purpose behind this survey is to gather information from ECPA member publishers regarding their marketing practices as well as to provide back to those members a meaningful way to look at the data that will help them to determine if their companies are on the right track with their budgeted marketing resources.

The type of information collected will highlight how publishers are allocating their marketing dollars for various purposes such as:
Marketing across various channels (e.g. Christian retail vs. general trade retail) Marketing through the web and e-mail Marketing budgets as a percentage of sales Tradeshow and event marketing Breakdown of marketing budget by retailer type within channel (e.g., chains vs. independents), as well as breakdown by particular retail entities.


As with all of ECPA's research initiatives, this report will provide members insight into key industry benchmarks - the fact that it is tracking spending in one of the largest budgeted areas for any publisher means that it will prove incredibly valuable in helping publishers strategize and more effectively focus their marketing budgets.
