Samsung and Armani Return with the M7500 Night Effect

September last year saw Samsung, along with world-famous designer Giorgio Armani, release the touchscreen P520 Armani and now, almost exactly a year later we have the second collaboration between the two: the M7500 Samsung Armani Night Effect. Despite its mouthful of a name, it’s a sleek little thing, this time shunning the touchscreen for a traditional candybar design. Here’s what to expect:

Samsung Armani M7500 Night Effect:

3G with HSDPA support. A 2.2″ OLED screen. Emporio Armani LED lights adorning one side, dedicated music keys the other. 3.2 megapixel camera and front facing videocall lens. A 3.5mm jack plug for your own headphones.

With the addition of the jack plug connection and direct music player access, the Night Effect has two of the essential ingredients of an MP3 player replacement as well as a phone. The 120MB of onboard memory is rather generous, but serious users will make use of the MicroSD card slot for storing all their music files, plus there is an FM RDS radio if you fancy a change.

You’re either going to love or hate the bright flashing Emporio Armani logo which runs up the side of the handset, but there’s no denying the keypad looks great and the inclusion of an OLED screen should make the menu system and games look very special indeed. It’s expected to get a November release in Europe at a competitive price. One to look forward to we think!
