What is Keyboard Remapper?

Keyboard Remapper is a shareware utility that allows you to modify your keyboard as you want and to use hot keys as well. This utility is just like a wizard - you can change your current Windows layout, have much more freedom using your keyboard, use some peculiar symbols which are hard to find. Even the special keys like "Alt", "Control", "Win", "Shift" and so on... can be changed. Not to mention that Keyboard Remapper can make a difference between the left and right "Win"-keys, for example. You may assign macros to keys as well...

Installing Keyboard Remapper

HAHAHAHA! It's not like other stupid Windows-stuffs! Keyboard Remapper doesn't need installing. Simply copy the files where you want, run and enjoy...

Remappable keys

Well, I'm very happy to say that almost ALL KEYS can be remapped! There are some exceptions, of course, but sooner or later they can also can be changed.

Hot Keys

All the keys can be used as a hot key!

Extras

- Two layouts: With the help of this utility, you can have two keyboard layouts
simultaneously (1st layout / 2nd layout). You can switch between the two layouts with the Hotkey that you set in Properties/Hotkey. An also existing function is the "temporary switch". If you hold down "Caps Lock" then Keyboard Remapper switches to the other
(opposed to the actual) layout. If some (redesigned) keys aren't pressed, then "Caps Lock" is functioning like the original. In the other case, the state of "Caps Lock LED" remains the same. "Temporary Switch" can be toggled on/off.
- Dead Keys: If you want to access accent characters, diacritic keys can be definied.
These called dead keys. This way you have to press "´" first and "e" after
to enter "é".

- Macro: Not only a character can be assigned to a key - even a string can be assigned. For example, if you are fed up with typing your name all the time, simply assign your name to a key! In my case I have a very long name, but I've assigned it to "Win"+"N". From now on every time I press "Win"+"N", my name appears.

Language

The program gives the opportunity to freely modify texts and messages appearing
in the program. You may save changes to language files. These should be stored
in Language sub-directory. Language Editor can be used to modify language.
