A Call for the Endurance of the Saints
Desiring God 2007 National Conference

From September 28-30, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, over 3,300 people came together to exalt the supremacy of Jesus Christ. In those three days attendees worshiped in song and over the Word as they worked through what it means to endure as a believer. We heard from John Piper, John MacArthur, Jerry Bridges, Randy Alcorn and Helen Roseveare each of whom spoke from their own experience with hardships in the Christian life.

The call to "stand" went forth clear and with power. God was exalted and people were blessed through the preaching, the Q&A sessions, corporate worship, the bookstore, and times of fellowship. It was wonderful to stand alongside so many God-centered volunteers who served with humility, patience, and in the strength which God supplied. We could not have held the conference without them. May God, through their joyful labor of love, glorify his goodness and magnify his mercy to all who attended.
