I’ve always loved the comedy of the transparency grid on Jos’ site. made me laugh the first time I saw it and it still makes me laugh. Jos seems like a really nice guy; I enjoyed John’s interview with him.

Hope you are feeling better now, Cat! I can’t imagine being sick for a month… ugh!

Thanks Lauren. It’s been tough going. Not having the energy to put together posts is a real pain in the batootie.

Jos’ sense of humour also grabbed me. And what dedication to his craft! After reading his blog and descriptions, I was tempted to give it a try. Time…

I must say I have been quite a bit fan of those fonts, great job really. A lot of typographers know that there isn’t a whole lot of money in it — especially since it takes such a long time to make a great font. It’s amazing that Jos offers up some free ones that look amazing.

You really have to love font design to keep at it with no monetary return. I know the feeling with design too. Sometimes I’d rather design for myself, doing it the way I want, then hassle with clients.
