4. Tommy got a special Emmy at the awards this year.

He would not let his name be on the list of writers for his show because he was afraid he was too controversial.
But he was doing alot of the writing, so they gave him the award that he deserved all those years ago.

Great humorists who risked (and lost) their 1/3 share of the TV viewers and the money that brought in order to tell a bit of truth. There were many others who told a bit of truth and fought for justice and lost even more, but these two have their place of honor among those many.
