JPI is building a 228-unit apartment complex at Ross Avenue at Routh Street. But the company said it is not planning new projects.

Irving-based JPI, one of the nation’s largest apartment developers, has laid off some employees and says it won’t pursue any new construction projects because of the prolonged credit crisis.
