Google PR Update: Here We Go Again!

Hi,

I tried the tool you have provided but my new site less than a month, unable to see changes now.

My site Litemind went from PR5 to PR6…

still the same… on all my webs…

hold on just checking my PR now! Nah still PR0

3 to 4 here. I’ve heard PR may fluctuate over the next few days… true? Not true?

I got PR 3 from PR 0. Nice.

PR5 to PR4. Oh well, no big deal.

PR was updated this morning
* 2 of my sites went from PR0 to PR3
* 2 from PR0 to PR2
* 1 stayed the same PR4

So my conclusion is that it affected mainly new sites

I got from PR3 to 4 and several of my pages also got PR4. I guess it’s starting.

The PR for my blog front page stayed at 5, but my site homepage went from 4 to 2. No idea why.

I was shocked today when I saw that one of my blogs was dropped from a PR 3 down to two. I thought we’d at least get a few months break before this all started again.

The site with the change is around four months old, I guess we’ll have to wait and see what they’re doing this time around.

What does PR mean again?

i have lots of changes in PR on almost all sites (some down, some up) but no changes in the SERPs … yet…

I used digpagerank.com but it seems there hasn’t any changes with my blogs PR. The PR 2 still got the same number, and the PR 0 hasn’t crack the egg yet.

Got yr link through 45n5. Yeap, Google gave me a fright last night because my PR4/10 got unranked. And the green juice returned when I woke up. A few of my new blogs gained PR 1 and PR 2 as well.

Went from pr 3 to pr 4 here.

Wow, my not even a month blog got Pagerank 2. Man, my theme release atlast got me some success !

No changes yet, unfortunately.

I noticed an increase in PageRank on Thursday evening for some of my internal pages and made a post about it.

Overall, there were just a few changes for me but I did have a new blog go from 0 to 3 which was quite surprising.

Yes, it’s definitely happening. My blog is just 2 months old and today it’s showing a PR of 1. So I am #1 now! LOL

Looks like there was a small bump on Quebec Wines but no change on Find Mapping.

Not clear whether the change has anything to do with Google though.

I saw a PR jump from 4 to 5 but strangely one of the datacenter is showing PR as 7, unsure whether there will be another jump for me

I noticed changes in my backlinks count as reported by Google’s Webmaster Tools. They seemed to be decreasing. As of today I cannot access the tools, nor the AdSense account. They are facing technical difficulties.

I’m looking forward to access my account again and see and see what has changed.

You are so lucky - most people I’ve spoken to so far have seen their PR drop. My PR on my blog went from a 3 to a 2.

My site moved from PR 3 to PR 4

One of my sites that was a PR0 due to the paid links kickback has gone back up to a PR3. It was once a PR5, but still nice to know my email to Google was recognised. One of the sites that I haven’t contacted Google about has stayed at PR0.

Don’t care about PR anymore, but still nice to know that I’m not on Google’s naughty list.

JoeTech.com had somehow gone from PR5 to PR0 in the October update. This time around, I’m back to PR3, which is better than nothing, I suppose. LinkBaitMe.com jumped from PR2 to PR3.

No change (PR 3) in the Google toolbar, but the data centers tool showed PR 0 for three IPs before it timed out. Strange days…

Got a PR2 for a brand new site shop fitness and added a pr onto a couple of others.

I dont see much changes, but my new blog went to pr3 hehe

My site Skills Portal went from PR5 to PR4. It really ruined my weekend!!

Still no changes on 7 of my websites, very weird.

One 3 month old site went from PR 0 to 3.
One blog 2 years old went from PR 5 to 3.
The rest remained the same.

Most internal pages from http://www.gehspace.com/ changed from PR 2 to PR3. The home-page PR has not changed, stayed with 3, while my campanha.htm page leaped from 2 to 4. It is a 3 y.o. website with more than 12000 backlinks.

My 1 year-old blog, http://meusitenaprimeirapagina.....gspot.com/ leaped from PR2 to PR4.

The blog I’ve started on December 24th last year, http://seonoticiaseartigos.blogspot.com/ has jumped from PR n/a to PR5! What amazes me is the outstanding traffic number I earned since this incredible PR value: it stayed steady on 12 unique visits per day!!!

Does PR still really mean anything?

I’m still a zero on an established site but am heavily indexed. When I update, it gets in there in 20 minutes. It’s weird.

Well, we can all but try and I definitely will for the next new update. When it was happening I was checking a few of my sites on the datacenter and all were showing up with zero. Then, like you I went and checked a few other established blogs and sites and they too were showing up as zero. Wondering if google were purposely blocking the datacenters revealing pr.

I have just added new tool to check all Google DataCenters for Page Rank.

When will Google finish 2008 January PR update?

Gawd, mine had gone to N/A too, I hate the fact that they have to reduce our PR’s just because we monetize our blogs. What’s the catch anyway? They do the same thing, too I guess on their ‘other’ websites perhaps. Damnn, it makes me go all crazy. –,

Mine 3 websites/blogs went from PR3 to PR0
I was writing few paid articles on them. Cud that be the reason ? I didnt have “paid post” or “sponsored post” written.

I have definately seen some page rank changes in the past 30 days. Going back and forth with no apparent reasoning for my mains site. Nothing to make your heart pound a little harder to wonder where you are going to place for that day. But as of current I have slid a little but appear to be moving quite well for my main index site.

My backlinks shown by Google using link:domain.com has definitely gone up, its now shoing 287, whereas last week it only showed 214. Another site I started the week after the last PR update also has around 90 links in Google. So a link: update has definitely been released. No doubt about it. I haven’t seen any PR changes, though.

My backlink for lazymovie has definitely gone down. what’s up with google? My PR also went down from 5 to 4.. Really not that big of a deal but its just kindda disappointing in my part… hmmm…

Why is google reading meta description? Google is using the meta description the same way as yahoo does… What’s up with that?!

From t he rumors going on, there was an update in late July this year, has anyone verified this? What about next update, anyone know when that may be?
