What is the Love Basket?

For over 20 years the Christian Television    
Network has helped support families in
     financial crisis in our community.  The Love
     Basket began as an extension of CTN's
     prayer line.  As families called in for prayer,
     often a financial need was also met.  The
     Love Basket has since developed into its
     own ministry, continually growing and
     listening to the voice of the Lord as he opens
     up new areas of assistance.

     There are many aspects to the Love Basket. 
     Our primary goal is to assist single parent   
     families and the disabled who are apart of the
     churches in the local community.  We want
     to not only assist them financially, but help  
     direct them in areas of need.  (i.e.: family
     planning, financial / budgeting classes,
     education courses ect.) To be able to help
     them close the revolving door for good.

...and if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ , and members individually.  1Cor. 12:26-27

• We are always looking for volunteers. Whether it's making phone calls, filling papers, or sorting and hanging up clothes in the Thrift Store, we have a variety of work that needs to be done. Just let us know what areas interest you.
• We need donations. We will accept clothing, household items, furniture, and used automobiles in good conditions. The items sold in the thrift store bring in revenue to help support the Love Basket. Often these items are also given away to families in crisis.
