It gives you an easy follow guide to what works as far as CSS coding, across a lot of areas... and shows how much more control over design specifics CSS can have...

Fantastic book! It's been very useful. NOTE: This isn't about the book, but you sent me an email saying the book was on sale. Then I went online and purchased the book. Then a week later I got another email saying "Only XX weeks lefts to purchase the book!". Common sense - if someone has purchased the book already it'd be smart to NOT send them further emails about the same book. I'm a huge fan of Sitepoint and have bought many (maybe even most) of your books. As professional as your books are, I really wish you'd updated your emailing system to be a little "smarter".

A whole chapter devoted to an image gallery? A whole chapter on rounded boxes??? How about something about how to create 2-column, 3-column layouts? How to manage liquid CSS layouts? Quite a disappointment. I was hoping for something much more substantial.
