Teacher: Robyn Armstrong
Robyn has been a member of Cornerstone Church for 4 years. She is currently a Junior at David Lipscomb University studying Elementary Education. She has been in the College and Career ministry for almost two years where she served as a care group leader. Robyn has been on missions trips to Thailand and Mexico with the church and can't wait to go on another one. “I am excited that God has called me to be with my peers and teach them as He teaches me more and more about His awesome plan.”

Teachers: Keith & Tosha Cole
Keith and his wife, Tosha, have been members of Cornerstone Church for almost nine years. They were both saved shortly after they started coming to the church. Over the years, they have served as children’s workers, board members, and church elders. They currently serve as teachers in the Christian Education Department. Keith states, “One of our greatest joys is seeing people come into the church and begin to grow closer to Jesus Christ the same way that Tosha and I did so long ago. We understand what most of the people who come in from out ‘in the world’ are going through because we have been there, too!”

Teachers: Marty & Lynn Cooper
Marty and his wife, Lynn, have been married for over three years. Marty has been a member of Cornerstone since 2003, and Lynn has been a member since 1999. Marty has served as a prayer partner for the InFocus television ministry, a care group leader, and is currently a member of the Cornerstone choir. Together, they have served as teachers since 2006 in the Adult Christian Education department. Marty states, “Our desire is to help others to achieve a closer walk with the Lord.”

Teachers: Randy and Misty Tobitt
Randy and Misty have been attending Cornerstone Church since 1998. Through the years they have served as Royal Ranger teachers in the children’s department and Care Group Leaders. Randy has put his hands to work for the Lord by being actively involved in foreign missions. He has been to Africa with Cornerstone nine times since 2000 and together, Randy and Misty were able to visit Thailand in 2007. Randy and Misty currently serve as teachers in the Christian Education Department where they have taught marriage classes on Wednesday nights and now currently teach the “Welcome Home” Saturday class. “We knew the pain, suffering, and sorrow from being outside God’s will. Now we know the peace, joy, and blessings that come from having a relationship with Him. We just want to share our lives, our hearts, and God’s Word to help others to have that same relationship.”

Teacher: Pastor Danny Johnson
Pastor Danny Johnson joined the Cornerstone Church staff in August of 2006 as the Helps and Assimilation Pastor. He has worked in the ministry for over twenty years doing things from maintenance to being a Youth Pastor, along with being an Associate Pastor. Pastor Danny grew up in Montana and attended Montana State University. He and his wife, Carrie, moved to Tennessee in 1989. They have two children, Daniel and Courtney.

Teachers: Max and Judy Baker
Max and Judy have been active at Cornerstone Church for over 9 years. They have both had the privilege of serving as Care group leaders and on the Africa missions’ teams. Judy serves as National Chapter Coordinator for Save One Ministries and is also on the board of directors for that ministry. Max and Judy have been married 18 years and have 2 children. “We want to help other people realize that God has a plan and a purpose for EVERY life. If He can use us, we know that He can use anyone who is willing to serve. Be willing!”

Teacher: Pastor Dana & Julia Lawson
Pastor Dana Lawson was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. He graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 1994 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. After graduating at age 23, he opened and owned a restaurant for approximately two years. Following the restaurant business, Pastor Dana managed several businesses and directly managed over 900 employees. After several years as an outside salesperson, he became a mortgage broker, where he developed his financial management skills. Pastor Dana became Chief Financial Officer at Cornerstone Church in April 2003, and he is currently serving in that capacity. He lives in Hendersonville, TN, with his wife, Julia, and their three sons, Isaac, Andrew, and Samuel.

Teacher: Pastor Bob & Dana Keich
Pastor Bob Keich left his career to answer God's call to ministry after ten years in the insurance field. He attended Rhema Bible training Center and Rhema School of Pastoral Ministries while working as a bank branch manager and officer for the Bank of Oklahoma. Since graduation, Pastor Bob Keich has served in the roles of associate pastor, senior pastor and now serves as the executive senior pastor of Cornerstone Church. As a teacher, Pastor Bob Keich uses his wide range of life experiences both in the business world and as a pastor to explain God's Word in a relevant way for everyday life. Pastor Bob Keich and his wife, Dana, and their two daughters live in Goodlettsville, TN.

Teacher: Bud & Kay Thorpe
George "Bud" and his wife, Kay, have been married for 46 years and have four children and ten grandchildren. They have been attending Cornerstone Church for over 11 years. Bud has served as an usher, greeter, care group leader, in the men’s ministry, and kitchen team. Bud and Kay have been teachers for nearly two years in the Adult Christian Education department. He states, “I have a passion to share the love and the faithfulness of God and the truth of His Word to anyone who will listen. There is a spirit at Cornerstone that causes you to want to be involved.”

Teachers: Henry & Pat White
Henry and his wife, Patt, have been a part of Cornerstone for over nine years. They have been married for 43 years. Henry & Patt have served as care group leaders and prayer partners for the Cornerstone television ministry. Henry has also served as an assistant Sunday School teacher as well as a regular Wednesday night teacher. For over thirty-five years prior to joining Cornerstone, they have served as in the positions of youth director, minister of music, elder and adult Sunday School teacher. Their passion is to “instill in others the concept of ENTHOS (God within) to help people live fuller, richer, and more powerful lives as they celebrate leading others to Christ Jesus.”

Teachers: Barry & Cande Kidd
Barry and Cande have been members of Cornerstone for over 15 years. They have been married for 31 years and have three sons and one beautiful daughter in-law. They have served in various ministries including, choir, missionettes, greeters, the vision ministry and teaching in the Wednesday night classes. They currently serve as elders and Sunday School teachers. Their goal, first and foremost, is to see each person hunger and thirst for God in a way they never have before. For anyone not saved, or not where they need to be with the Lord, to surrender their life to Him completely. And for their class to receive the Word of God into their hearts so faith can grow daily. "We would love to see each person get so full of the Word, to get their faith built up to such a level, that they could believe God for every need in their life."

Teacher: Scott & Mylissa Carnes
Scott and his wife, Mylissa, have attended Cornerstone since 1996. They have been married for 13 years and have three children, Scott, Keleigh, and Elly. They have both served in the Children's Ministry and as greeters. Scott and Mylissa currently teach an adult Sunday school class called "From Victory to Victory." The inspiration for the class name came from how their lives have been blessed since they started their walk with God. Scott states, “God has taken Mylissa and me from victory to victory. That doesn’t mean we haven’t had some bumps in the road...we just know when we walk with God, there is victory."

Teacher: Brian & Meleah Jones
Brian and his wife, Meleah, have been members at Cornerstone for over two years. They have served as care group leaders and members of the video ministry. Brian states, ‘We have a real passion to teach young men and women to get the very best that God has for their lives by applying principles from God's Word.” They are the proud parents of two beautiful children, Alexis and Roman.

Teacher: Ron & Sherron Creasy
Sherron and her husband, Ron, have been members of Cornerstone Church for over three years. They are the proud parents of their son, Todd and wife, Alicia, and the grandparents of three wonderful grandchildren. Sherron is a graduate of Berean College and brings over ten years of teaching experience to Cornerstone. She has served as a member of the Cornerstone Choir and a care group leader with her husband. They currently serve as elders and teachers in the Christian Education Department.

Teacher: Allen and Michelle Jenkins
Allen Jenkins and his wife, Michelle, came to Cornerstone in 1993. In 1999, Allen and Michelle began to serve as Care Group Leaders in a young couple’s class. In 2000, they were given their first opportunity to teach a Wednesday night class. In 2001, they became Care Group Leaders in the Singles Ministry. Then, from August of 2002 through 2007, Allen and Michelle taught the Singles’ Sunday School class and served as coordinators of the Singles Department. Beginning in January 2008, Allen and Michelle, have now moved to teaching a new Sunday School class that is open to everyone as well as other Wednesday night classes. Allen states, “Teaching is one of the great joys of my life and it is a tremendous honor to serve my class and the Christian Education Ministry of Cornerstone.”

Teachers: Pastor Jeff & Lisa Gregory
Pastor Jeff Gregory came on staff in January 2002. He was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. Pastor Jeff graduated from Nashville Technical Institute with a degree in engineering. He and his wife, Lisa, are charter members of Cornerstone. He has served as an elder, usher, Advisory Council member, Sunday school teacher, and in Youth Ministry. Pastor Jeff has always had a heart for Missions. He loves to see people changed by the gospel message and by showing them the love of Jesus out loud. He has traveled all across the world leading people and projects. He has just completed 2000 church plants in the nation of Kenya. He states,"Buildings and projects are only the doorway, but with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, lives are changed. We are only vessels for the Lord to use, and we should remain IN HIS GRIP." Pastor Jeff and his wife, Lisa, have two beautiful daughters, Courtney and Whitney.

Teachers: Don and Patti Herron
Don and Patti Herron joined Cornerstone September 20, 1998, that day God did a miraculous transformation in their lives. They grew up in northern Ohio and were unchurched. They have served as care group leaders, InFocus prayer partners, choir, usher, and missions team members. They currently serve as church elders, Sunday school teachers in the Christian Education department, and direct The Vision ministry event. They reside in Hendersonville, TN and have been married for 31 years; they have 3 great sons, 2 terrific daughter-in-laws, and 7 wonderful grandchildren. Don is founder and owner of Genesis Roofing Company, both a commercial and residential business. “Since coming to Cornerstone our lives have been changed miraculously, developing a lifestyle of worship, being disciplined in The Word, led by the Holy Spirit, and being sold out for God. Our desire and passion as elders and teachers is to help disciple others in what we have been so gloriously given here at Cornerstone.”

Teacher: Stan & Sarah Johnson
Stan and his wife, Sarah, have been married for 40 years and have two children and four grandchildren. They have been members of the Cornerstone family for 12 years. Stan has taught a Sunday school class since March of 1998. Stan and Sarah currently serve as teachers in the Christian Education department. They state, “The most rewarding part of serving as a teacher is seeing people's lives change and watching them grow and develop in the Lord. When you sow God's Word into people and see it take root and grow… that is what it is all about.”

Teacher: Tom and Evie Shafer
The Schafer’s moved from Northern California to Gallatin, TN in 2001, and have attended Cornerstone Church since November of 2005. They have served as Wednesday Night Class teachers and Care Group Leaders. Tom and Evie are the parents of five beautiful daughters, two lovely grand daughters and one awesome son-in–law. “Whether you are visiting our class for the first time or have been attending for some time, we pray that you feel the love of God in this place. We believe that every member of our class has a ministry; our hope is that we are able to guide you in finding yours. May the blessing of God be upon you as you press forward in your relationship with Him.”

Teacher: Kris & Mary Kelso
Kris and Mary Kelso met and married at Cornerstone Church in 1997. They have served in various ministries over the years, including youth ministry and care group ministry. Mary has been a member of the choir and continues to serve as a member of the Ladies Board. In 2004, they started an adult Sunday School class, which they still teach today. Kris and Mary reside in Old Hickory, TN, with their three sons, Owen, Ivan, and Aron.

Teacher: Roxanna Polk
Roxanna has attended Cornerstone for nine years. She is the proud parent of two grown children and one teenager. She has owned and operated her own boutique for over 17 years. Roxanne has served as care group leader and member of the cookie corps. She states, “I love to share my miracle beginnings with others who have a dream of owning their own business. God has a plan and purpose for everyone and I love to help others realize theirs.”

Teachers: Jonathan & Danielle Kidd
Jonathan and Danielle Kidd are both graduates of Tennessee Tech University. They were married in the summer of 2006. Jonathan has been attending Cornerstone since 1994 and Danielle started attending in the spring of 2006. Both were saved at an early age and have been faithfully serving the Lord since their decisions for Chirst. Jonathan and Danielle have a passion to serve the Lord and have had the opportunity to lead Bible studies, travel on mission trips, and work at ministry camps. At an early age, Jonathan knew he was called to ministry, and now he and Danielle are excited to fulfill that calling!

Teacher: Rick & Paulette Smith
Rick Smith currently serves as a Sunday School Teacher here at Cornerstone Church. He is gifted in Christian Counseling, and has worked on the pastoral staff of Cornerstone Church from July 2005 through October of 2007, after spending several years as a teacher, coach, athletic director, counselor and administrator in the Tennessee Public School system. Rick was born in San Antonio, Texas, and has resided in several different parts of the country as a result of being raised in an Air Force family. Rick Smith and his wife, Paulette, a registered nurse with the Vanderbilt Medical Center, came to Cornerstone Church in early 1997.

Teacher: Randy & Carol Stoecker
Randy and Carol Stoecker have devoted over 35 years to teaching and leading people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. They have been members of Cornerstone Church for five years. Randy has taught the Sunday morning class for two years and both Carol and Randy have taught on Wednesday evenings. They also currently serve as Elders. They have three children and four grandchildren. They feel that the Word needs to be not only proclaimed, but applied to individual life situations. Proclamation with application is absolutely essential to grow in Christ.

Teacher: Pastor Glenda Woods
Pastor Glenda Woods came on staff as an Associate Pastor in December 2002. She and her husband, Ray, have been members of Cornerstone since 1992. They served together on the youth staff for several years. Ray has served on the Board of Directors and is an Elder. Pastor Glenda has taught youth and adult Sunday school classes. She worked in the church office on the secretarial staff, first as assistant to the youth pastor, then as assistant to the business administrator. As a staff pastor, she works with the Keenagers, Cornerstone's Senior Adults. Her heart's passion is to see people living their full potential in God. "We are not called to be Sunday morning Christians. We are called to live victorious and abundant lives. My desire is to teach God's people to rise above the ordinary and walk in the abundance He's calling us to."

Jeff and his wife, Sheila, have been married for over 19 years. They are the proud parents of four sons. They have been members of Cornerstone Church since 2002. Jeff has served as a member of the choir, facilitator of Radical Change and the Vision since becoming a member of Cornerstone. Jeff is currently the director of the Radical Change Ministry.

Teacher: Pastor Sandy Sterban
Pastor Sandra Sterban sees the need for enlightenment in people's lives in order for them to be winners in this life. Never content to remain inside boundaries, Pastor Sandra Sterban ministers in churches of all denominations. The driving force behind her is the desire to equip God’s people, whether in her home church or ministering wherever the Lord leads. Not knowing the Word and how she could apply it in her life, Pastor Sandra Sterban allowed Satan to oppress her mind for nineteen years, thinking that this was God’s will. Through the power of praise and the Word of God, Pastor Sandy Sterban was released from the power of darkness and understood God’s longing for people to be free. "I know the Word of God can change the lives of people if they will only get it in their spirit. My desire is to teach believers about the incredible love and power of a big God. It’s
that Christians stop living beneath the provisions God has made for them."

Teacher: Tim Davis
Tim and Angie Davis have been members of Cornerstone for over 5 years, and the reside in Nashville. Together they have served in several ministries at the church. Tim has served as an Usher and on the Board of Directors, and Angie has served in the Children’s Ministry Department. Together they have served as Care Group Leaders. Outside of Church, they own a successful mortgage company and Tim is a Speaker, and Business & Life Coach. “God has shown us in a powerful way how faithful He is. We cannot imagine life without our church family here at Cornerstone, it is so incredibly awesome."

Teacher: Brad Smith
Brad is originally from Anderson, Indiana and has been an active member of Cornerstone Church since Easter 2001. He has served in many capacities such as Care Group Leader and Sunday School Teacher for the College & Career ministry. Brad believes in living a highly dedicated life for the Lord, has a passion for soul-winning, and teaches non-compromising, yet encouraging messages. He is excited about sharing what the Lord has done in his life and has a calling to preach the Gospel. Brad met his wife, Liz at Cornerstone and the two of them were married in December 2006. Liz has been an active member of Cornerstone since Sept 2003 and is originally from Woodbury, Tennessee. Both Brad and Liz are looking forward to tremendous church growth, seeing people’s lives strengthened & transformed by the Lord, and for God’s blessings to overflow this year!

Teacher: Rick Ferrell
Rick, his wife, Stephanie, and their son, Jack, have been a part of Cornerstone Church for over 3 years. Rick brings a wealth of teaching experience to Cornerstone Church. He is a Financial Counselor and a Licensed Minister with the Assemblies of God. Rick and Stephanie began their ministry at Cornerstone as care group leaders. They currently serve as teachers in the Christian Education department. Rick's passion for teaching is rooted in his desire to win the lost and to develop relationships in small groups.

Teacher: Debbie Stricklin
Debbie and her family have attended Cornerstone Church since 1994. Along with her husband, Jeff, they have raised their three children in Cornerstone. All of the kids are actively involved in CYM (Cornerstone Youth Ministry). Debbie works as a 5th grade Christian school teacher here in Nashville. She currently serves as a Wednesday night teacher in the Adult Christian Education department. Jeff and Debbie also serve as care group leaders and church elders. Jeff is a member of the Board of Directors for Cornerstone Church. Debbie states, “Proclaiming God’s Word is my greatest joy! Get involved! What an incredible privilege it is to be part of an ever-changing, growing miracle! Cornerstone is a great place to invest your life in God’s Kingdom.”

Teacher: Tammy Groves
Jeff and Tammy Groves have been members at Cornerstone for seven years. They have been married for 21 years and have two children Daniel and Alivia. They were active in youth minisrty for over sixteen years. At Cornerstone they have been honored to serve the youth minisrty, parking lot minisrty, greeter, caregroup leaders and teacher. "It is exciting to be a worker in God's kingdom. To see people grow in their relationship with Him and to serve others."

Teachers: Pastor Robby & Vanessa McGee
Pastor Robby McGee was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He developed an interest in business management early in life when he took a night course in business management to graduate early from high school. After graduating, he immediately went on the road with a Christian band called Mid South. He managed the band, played keyboards, sang, and was a songwriter for the band between 1982 and 1994. During that time, Mid South signed with Word records, was nominated for a Grammy, and Pastor Robby received a Dove Award for one of his songs. It was during those years that his business management skills developed by managing the band and by forming his bus leasing and publishing companies. In 1994, Pastor Robby became the Executive Pastor at Cornerstone Church and served in that position for over 10 years. Pastor Robby currently is the CEO of New Life Corporation of America in Brentwood, Tennessee. He lives in Hendersonville, Tennessee, with his wife, Vanessa, and their son, Tyler.
Vanessa McGee was raised in Southeast Texas in a wonderful Christian home. Her family was at church every time the doors were opened. This created a love for God and the local church. At a very young age she knew that she wanted to grow up and serve in a church. While attending her 1st grade Sunday School class, she told her teacher that one day she was going to be just like her. And that is exactly what she did. After serving in different areas of ministry, she found her true love and passion was teaching. She loves to see people set free by the truth that is in the Word. She also serves as the Women’s Director for the church. She is the proud wife of Pastor Robby McGee and mother of one awesome son, Tyler.

Teacher: Pastor Greg & Tanja Brewer
Pastor Greg Brewer joined the pastoral staff of Cornerstone Church in January 2007 as the Christian Education pastor. He was born and raised in Memphis, TN. Pastor Greg served eight years in the U.S. Army in the field of Avionics Communications. It was during his time in service that he received his call to ministry. Pastor Greg has been active in ministry for over 18 years. He has served in the positions of Evangelist, Elder, Pastor and State Sunday School Superintendent. Prior to joining the pastoral staff, he served as the Video Producer of the InFocus TV broadcast for Cornerstone Church. He lives in Nashville, TN, with his wife, Tanja, and their three children.
Tanja is originally from Chicago and has lived in many countries around the world as her parents served in the United States Air Force. Having accepted Christ as her personal Savior as a sophomore in college, she was delivered from a life of depression and oppression. Afterward through the power of the Holy Spirit, she set out to encourage those around her to live the most victorious lives so that they can experience "Heaven on Earth". She has served in ministry for over 13 years. In addition to the Christian Education ministry, she also serves as a member of the Choir and of the Intercessory Prayer Team at Cornerstone church. She has been married to her husband, Pastor Greg Brewer, for 13 years. Together, they have 3 anointed and blessed children: 2 daughters - Sabrina and Dominique and 1 son - Benjamin.

Teacher: Cheri Osborne
Cheri and her husband, Rory, have attended Cornerstone for 4 years. They have a blended family of 6 children. Cheri has been a care group leader for 2 years. She is currently a Co-facilitator and District Chapter Coordinator for the SaveOne Ministry. She has a passion to help women and men that are holding on to past failures, find the path to healing and wholeness that God has ordained for them by applying His Word to their lives.

Teacher: Rachel Upton
Rachel, her husband, Curtis, and son, Brett, have been members of Cornerstone Church for four years. Rachel is a Regional Chapter Coordinator with the SaveOne ministry. After going through the SaveOne class at Cornerstone herself in the fall of 2005, Rachel developed a passion to see other men and women set free from the bondages the choice of abortion has brought into their lives. “SaveOne resembled a road map that God had set before me to find freedom, I learned that His grace and mercy covered all my sin, even the sin of abortion.”

Teacher: Lesa Wharton
Lesa Wharton is the wife of Michael Wharton and they have been members of Cornerstone since it started in 1983. They have one son in college and two married daughters and one grandson. They currently serve as Care Group leaders and Elders. Lesa is on the Ladies Board and enjoys working with the Ladies Night of Laughter. “It’s a privilege to have raised my children in this church with its commitment to faithfulness, excellence, and the Word of God. Lesa currently serves a Wednesday night teacher.

Teacher: Johnathan McClanahan
Jonathan and his wife Essie have been members of Cornerstone Church for 8 years. He has served as a care group leader, Infocus prayer partner and director of the Cornerstone prison ministry. Jonathan currently serves as a teacher in the Christian Education department. He states, “The impact that Cornerstone Church has had on my life is that it has taught me structure, discipline and the need to obey Spiritual Authority. The greatest impact that God's Word has had on my life is that it has transformed my mind.” Jonathan and Essie are the proud parents of two wonderful children.

Teachers: Michael & Michelle Metcalf
Michael and his wife, Michelle, are the parents of two sons, Charles and Chandler. They were married in 1994 and that same year Michael felt called to ministry. Michael, however, began a career in sales and became an industry consultant traveling across the United States. Nevertheless, God brought him back to His original plan for his life. They came to Cornerstone in 2006 after pastoring in Bowling Green, KY for 3 years. Michael & Michelle currently in the insurance business have been afforded the opportunity to fully dedicate themselves to what they know is their purpose, to not only see people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but to inspire them to defeat every enemy that would come against their lives.

Teachers: Pastors Emeritus Earl & Alice Jane Blythe
Pastors Earl and Alice Jane Blythe have a ministry of the Gospel which spans over the past 80 years. In fact, the combination of years each of them has spent preaching and teaching the Word is 150 years (Earl – 70 years and Alice Jane – 80 years). Throughout their ministry, they have experienced many settings which enabled them to reach thousands of people for Christ. Pastor Earl Blythe fulfilled a 17-year commitment as the Tennessee District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, while Pastor Alice Jane Blythe served as the Women’s Ministries Director of the Tennessee District for 36 years. They have been teachers, evangelists, and pastors ministering to the needs of those whom the Lord placed in their path. In April 1996, Brother and Sister Blythe accepted the position of Associate Pastor for the Senior Adults at Cornerstone Church, bringing life and vitality to not only the senior adults, but also the congregation as a whole. Currently, they are serving as Pastors Emeritus and continue to usher in the presence of the Lord wherever they go.

Teacher: Chad Browning
Chad came to Cornerstone in 1999 and Rachel started attending in 2001. They met in 2002 in the Singles Ministry and soon got married. They have faithfully served as Care Group leaders for the past 5 years. Chad also serves as a prayer partner for the In-Focus program and a teacher in the adult Christian Education ministry. God has blessed them with two wonderful children, Jude and Sloane.

Teacher: John Isbell
John and his wife Jeannie have been members of Cornerstone since 1999. They are the proud parents of four wonderful children- Angela, Kevin, Ryan, and John II. John has faithfully served as an usher, care group leader and a member of the Cornerstone mission team. He brings a wealth of ministry and professional experience to the Christian Education department. John received his ministerial credentials through the Assemblies of God in 2006. He currently serves as the teacher of the Berean School of the Bible curriculum.

Teacher: Jason Longoria
Jason has been a member of Cornerstone Church since the Summer of 2005. He has served as a Care Group Leader for the College & Career class as well as a director for the Infocus television ministry. Jason states, "Through the ministry of Cornerstone Church, God has shown me the importance of reading and obeying His Word. I have learned that if I'm faithful to that Word, then God will be faithful to perform it in every area of my life."

Teacher: Sandi McDerman
Sandi fist came to Cornerstone in 1996 along with her daughter, son-in-law, and their three children. She has been a member of the cookie corps, vision team, and mission team. Sandi has also served a care group leader and teacher for the singles 40+ class. For over five years, she has been a faithful member of the choir. Sandi states, “I am very blessed to serve in leadership and want others to use their gifts to serve the Lord. The Lord can’t raise you up in ministry if you don’t take that first step.”

Teacher: Darin Montgomery
Darin, his wife, April, and daughter, Autumn reside in Greenbrier and have been attending Cornerstone since 2003. Darin and April serve as Caregroup Leaders and April serves in Kinderchurch. Darin is a Graduate of ASU and worked as a trouble-shooter for a major corporation helping various locations achieve greater profitability through people development and building teamwork in the workplace. This experience coupled with work in Career Development and Human Resource Management has given him a unique insight into people. After several years of fighting the calling on his life and during a battle with a severe health condition that was stealing his life and joy, Darin finally submitted to God and wrote a book to be published in the Fall of 2008. Through intense research and constantly seeking God while writing the book, Darin received his healing in 2007. He is a marvel to his doctors. Darin burns with a passion to see the Body of Christ line up with the word of God and to see Christians stand up for Jesus Christ.

Teacher: Scott Vaugn
Scott and his wife, Laurie, have been married for 18 years. They have a beautiful daughter, Sarah. They have been members of Cornerstone Church since 2004. Scott has served in the choir, Care Group Leader, and the Vision since he has been at Cornerstone. His hearts desire is to help people find their freedom and victory in Christ.

Teacher: Rick Rury
Rick Rury has been attending Cornerstone since 1997. He and his wife Traci have been care group leaders since 2003. Beginning in 2005 Rick has served on the InFocus Prayer Team, and as a Facilitator /Teacher in Radical Change Ministries beginning in 2006. The Rurys have four children -- Allison, Trey, Alexandria, and Carner. Rick states, “ Radical Change Ministries is defined in Rev. chapter 2. Jesus told the Churches that the over comers would receive the prize. Over coming gets a lot of lip service and seldom any real action. Christ has set me free and called this ministry to put over coming into shoe leather, walking it out every day. It is about real life and real freedom."

Teacher: Terry Martin
Terry has been married to his lovely wife Yvette for 20 years. They have 2 wonderful children, daughter Taylor and son Logan. They have been members of Cornerstone Church for 4 years. Terry and Yvette have served as care group leaders for 3 years. They have also served in the vision ministry and a part of the missions team. Terry states, “I experienced the life changing power of Jesus Christ at Cornerstone Church. Cornerstone is truly a real church for real people. Come join our family today.”

Teacher: Sandi Aldridge
Sandi and her husband Ken discovered Cornerstone in 1991. Over the past 16 years, they, along with their children Luke, Jaclyn and Isaac, have been blessed with the opportunity to serve and to grow with the church. Sandi previously worked as an OB nurse for 8 years. Currently she and Ken are elders,care group leaders and volunteers in the Children's Ministry. Ken serves on the Board of Directors. Luke and Jaclyn have served on mission trips in the U.S. and other countries. "Who ( or what ) do you put your hope in? People need to know that God longs to be their present help and their future hope. We are building on the foundation of Jesus Christ. If we live in His Word, the Bible, God Himself will empower us to live out our destiny."

Teacher: Cookie Ray
Cookie has been a member of Cornerstone Church since 1999. She has been married to her husband Charles for 15 years. Charles and Cookie have served as care group leaders for 2 years. Cookie has been involved with the SaveOne ministry since 1999 and recently became a District Chapter Coordinator. She states, “God set me free in 1999 from the bondage that abortion had on my life. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus and that is what I pray others realize as we cross paths, no matter what we have been through.”

Teacher: Rachel Alsup
Rachel Alsup has been married to her wonderful husband Michael for 6 years and they have an adorable son, Ryan. Rachel has been at Cornerstone since the church was started in 1983. Over the years, she has served as Youth Staff, a nursery worker, Children’s Ministry, and has been a part of various drama presentations. "I had always been the Christian that was afraid to be who God was calling and asking me to be. When I surrendered my fears and insecurities to God, He showed me how He just wants me to be available to serve Him. I want to see Christians realize their potential in Christ and take those steps to making a difference in their everyday life."

Teacher: Dale McBay
Dale has attended Cornerstone for four years. She and her husband, Marty, have been married for 30 years, have four children and five grandchildren. Dale graduated from Williamson Christian College in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Management and Ethics. “Only by God’s power and grace was I able to get my degree later in life.” Dale has served as a greeter, a choir member and a care group leader in the Christian Education Department at Cornerstone Church. “I want to help others know and experience the power of God in their lives, to fulfill their destiny in the Kingdom – to be eternally minded, Eternally His. Rewards await us in heaven as we fulfill God’s purpose on this earth and keep our eyes and our hearts steadfast on Him. Jesus has done more for me than I can ever do for Him, so I run the race with determination, keeping my eyes on the prize knowing I am “Eternally His.”

Teacher: Terry Bowman
Terry Bowman and his wife, Lisa, have been members of Cornerstone since 2006 and have served as Care Group Leaders in Rick Smith’s class. They have been married 23 years and have three children; Taylor 22, Paige 20, and Kelsie18. Taylor and Paige are college students and Kelsie attends Cornerstone Youth, serving in their music ministry, and will begin college in the fall of ‘08. Terry believes he is called as we all are, to evangelism, and personally to the teaching of God’s word, helping to equip fellow believers to grow and go.

Teacher: Jennifer Haley
Jennifer has been attending Cornerstone for over 5 years. She grew up in Coopertown and now lives in Madison. She is a hair stylist and works in downtown Nashville. Jennifer and her husband Travis married in April 2008. Travis has been attending Cornerstone since October of 2005. Jennifer served as a care group leader in the College and Career ministry for over a year before becoming an assistant teacher. She also is a prayer partner for the In Focus TV broadcast. Jennifer gave her life to the Lord at a very early age and has continued to serve every since. "My desire is to teach for life change, not just for head knowledge but real application in the world we live in today. I love the Lord with all my heart and I am so excited to have the opportunity to share what I love, Jesus Christ."
