Reviewed by Kimberly Barton (High Point, NC), August 17, 2008This book was a wonderful addition to the series. It had it twists and turns to make you wonder what's going to happen next.
Reviewed by Mary Scott (Littlerock, CA), August 14, 2008i had a hard time laying the book down...the story was easy to follow....i think many women can relate to allison and how she did suceed in learning how to be an amish housewife and still have her own identity of who she really is....i really liked the way the author presented the gospel to her and how clear it would be to an unsaved person so they could know jesus died for their sins and respond....i recommend others should read it....
Reviewed by Sherry Gillingham (Tempe, AZ), August 08, 2008I like some of Wanda Brunstetter's books better than others. Out of all her series, I have enjoyed Brides of Webster County the most. I was drawn to the character of Allison, as I also struggle with cooking and sewing! It was interesting to read how those who don't fit the norm might adapt to the Amish community. I did find Aaron to be written sort of sullen at times, but for the most part, I liked his character.
