"Mack" Philips took his three children on a family camping trip while his wife visited her sister. Just as they were about to leave the campsite, the two older kids decided to take a last canoe ride before heading home. Awesome, I read this book at a particularly difficult time and it lifted me back to where I needed to be. An awesome way to show exactly how the trinity works in my life and where I need to be spiritually. I strongly suggest everyone read this book - It will truly change your life.

For some people this book can be a bit unsettling but I found it to be a beautiful picture of how much God truly loves us. God meets us where we are most vulnerable and reaches out to comfort and heal us. I found the images of the Trinity, in this book, absolutely beautiful. Everyone in our Bible study group has read this book and we are encouraging others to read it, too!
