Always Remember - Yahweh Remembers
Posted By: tchable [image] [image]

But you, Israel, are my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen. The descendants of Abraham, My friend. You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest regions, and said to you, You are my servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away (Is 41:8-9).

Yahweh remembers these words He said to Israel through His prophet Isaiah and He will not repent.

When reading the NT we should always remember, Yahweh remembers. Because of the teachings of Replacement Theology many are lead astray and are taught error in God's Word when if they should remember, Yahweh remembers, then the Word of God will become crystal clear to them.

For example, Replacement Theology would have you believe Israel has been cast off and the Church is new Israel and the elect. The Church is elect but not the first and not the only elect of God. The words of Paul are clear in this matter but many choose to allegorize and make them something they are not.

Romans 9:6 - 13 (NKJV) But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, "In Isaac your seed shall be called." That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. For this is the word of promise: "At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son." And not only this, but when Rebecca also had conceived by one man, even by our father Isaac (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), it was said to her, "The older shall serve the younger." As it is written, "Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated."

People love to complicate this scripture and turn it into something it isn't. It doesn't require a college degree or any formal education to see what God is telling us here. However, the teachings of Replacement Theology will have you believe God is saying the Church is His only elect now.

For they are not all Israel who are of Israel. What does this mean? Yahweh, in His Word is making clear the lineage of His Elect. The lineage of the elect of Israel is:

Abraham - Isaac - and Jacob

If their lineage is Abraham - Ishmael - etc, then they are not the children of promise and not the elect of Israel.

If their lineage is Abraham - Isaac - Esau, then they are not the children of promise and not the elect of Israel.

The lineage of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are the children of promise and the elect of Israel.

Yahweh promised Abraham a child by his wife Sarah and this child would be the child of promise. Abraham, growing weary of waiting, on his own, chose to go into Hagar and Ishmael was born. Even though Ishmael was Abraham's first born he is not the child of promise and was born of the flesh and not of faith in the promises of Yahweh.

"That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as the seed "(v8).

"For this is the word of promise, "at this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son" (v9).

This son is Isaac. Furthermore, that the purpose of God according to the election might stand, NOT OF WORKS BUT OF HIM WHO CALLS, Yahweh said to Rebecca, the wife of Isaac, the older shall serve the younger. Rebecca had twins, Esau was the first born, however Jacob was the chosen one.

Paul tells us clearly in Romans 11:2, "God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew, ". Yahweh has reserved for Himself a remnant which came through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Yahweh remembers and will uphold His word.

"What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded." (Rom 11:7)

This verse is speaking of the remnant of Israel who's seed came through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The rest were blinded so Yahweh could offer salvation to the entire world which comes through faith in His only begotten Son. (see v 11)

Some of the branches of Israel were broken off. These are the branches which came from the flesh and not from the promise. Jesus, upon His resurrection, is the first fruit of a new creation (the first born from the dead). The Church composed of every race and nationality on earth, through faith in the Son of God, was grafted in. The day of Pentecost in the year of the crucifixion of Jesus our Lord began a new age, the Church Age.

Notice the Church was grafted in. The Church did not replace the elect remnant of Israel. Paul tells us he does not desire we should be ignorant of this mystery lest we be wise in our own opinion, that blindness in part has come to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. When the fullness of the Gentiles has come in all Israel shall be saved (see Rom 11:25-26).

When will the fullness of the Gentiles come in? The fullness of the Gentiles will come in when Jesus returns and puts an end to the war where all nations are attacking Israel. During the last half of the tribulation years Yahweh will protect His chosen of Israel (Rev 12:6). This remnant will enter the thousand year reign of Christ on earth with Him and during this Kingdom Age there will be a population explosion. The promise Yahweh made Abraham, "Look now toward heaven and count the stars if you are able to number them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be." (Gen 15:5)

These are the children of promise Yahweh is speaking of.

Rom 11:29, "For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." Did Yahweh not call Israel? If He did then the calling is irrevocable.

Yahweh speaking to Israel through His prophet Isaiah:

Isaiah 41:9 (NKJV) You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its farthest regions, And said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away:

Isaiah 44:1 (NKJV) "Yet hear me now, O Jacob My servant, And Israel whom I have chosen.

Yahweh remembers, you can count on that. Not one promise Yahweh made to Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob (nor any one else as far as that goes) will come back void but will do what He sent it forth to do.

Israel has not been replaced, the remnant remains and are chosen and elect of God. The new creation is also chosen and elect of God. During the thousand year reign of Christ on earth it will be the new creation who returns with Him to rule and reign for a thousand years. The Church is elect and will receive all the promises made by God to us. The remnant of Israel is also the elect and God will return and the remnant of Israel will multiply and become too numerous to count.

YAHWEH remembers! God never forgets anything except what He chooses to forget and that is the sins of a repentant soul.

It is amazing how blogs can begin with a thought and turn out to be something very different indeed. Thank You Holy Spirit.

Maybe I will get the one I intended to write in tomorrow. We'll see!

Thanks brother tchAble for daring to tackle this complex and hard for most to understand subject. The vast majority of Christians, including most who have a pretty good knowledge of the Bible, tend to get lost tying to figure this out. All we can do is keep presenting the pretense of our belief and pray that those who are hungering will find this kind of wonderful dinner.

Of course this is all based on the simplicity of belief that the Bible says what it means and means what it says instead of having to invent theologies to make it say what we want it to say. What a novel idea; allowing the Bible to speak for itself.

Thanks again for a very informative yet challenging post.

So true, so true. Yet most won't believe it because it is so simple and clearly written in the Holy Scripture. I really don't know why it is so hard for people to believe what God said through his prophets. Just take His Word at face value and things will become clear to you.

Thanks for a simple explanation of the truth.

With all respect I think you are mistaken. When Jesus wept for Jerusalem, he said to them, if you only knew what manner of time this is, but now the truth is HID from your eyes. God has hid the truth from the Jews in general and given grace to the gentiles. I respect your love for the forsaken. But it will just not hold in scripture what you say. If it give you any comfort in Romans 13, it says that God has committed all to disobedience so he will have mercy upon all...I don't know when the fullness of the gentiles will come in and then God will have mercy on all mankind...now try to understand that!

This is nothing personal. I hope this is not offensive to realize. May you be blessed. Amen.
