Right now I am... meditative
I am a female and am 42 years old!
My Biography:
My personal bio.... hmmm. well, who else will I write about? I'm not married. I don't have any kids. I don't have any thing against the little blessings, although I do argue with parents about discipline! All children need discipline.
Some adults could use some too! (I digress).
Overall, I'm fairly pleasant, very opinionated. I love chocolate, fluffy doughnuts(any Krispy Kremes nearby?), my church, Faith Christian Center and my church family. And cats and dogs....
I'll add to this as I grow more comfortable....Comfort level increasing... I'm also very passionate, especially about The Word, and intense. But, that's a good thing. The apostle Peter was intense, so was the apostle Paul, and Jesus was very definitely a passionate individual, so I'm in good company. Now before you all get weird on me... passion is an intensity we have about what we love or believe in.
and God tells us in Rev. 3:15-16 that He wants us either hot or cold, not lukewarm and that lukewarm folk get spit out of His mouth! Something to think about, eh?
More about me... when I gave my life back to God, I was living in sin with a young man, he didn't know what he wanted out of life, out of love, out of relationships, and as a result he was emotionally and mentally abusive. We had some good times, but, as I explained to my mom, over time, the relationship was like digging in dung for diamonds, with a diminishing return on effort. We were living in Berkeley, CA. at the time, and really into science fiction/fantasy. I still enjoy Star Trek, and Star Wars, and the like, but I don't invest quite so much time, effort, or emotion in them anymore. (they've grown strangely dim...)
And in case you were wondering about the flowers,well, I couldn't find or edit any pics of naturally growing black roses, so the white ones will have to do for now!
My Testimony:
I was saved at the age of six. But, I had no one to teach me about the Lord, His Goodness, His Grace, mercy, lovingkindness, until I was in my late thirties. Since I've learned about the Lord, I've seen Him do some AMAZING things. In 1998, I was diagnosed with SLE, and I was healed from it in 1999. I've been diagnosed with uterine fibroids, and been healed of them. I've had no job for the past five years, but I still have a car, though His grace and my mom's help. I"ve had over 1500 dollars worth of work done on my car, and I saw the Lord move on someone's heart to pay the bill IN FULL. I've been blessed with food, clothing, mary kay cosmetics! (God wants me to look good on camera....) and that's just the short list! I'm sure there will be more....
