Westinghouse Intros LCM-17w7 DVI LCD Monitor

Westinghouse has shown some great strength with its LCD flat-panel TV sets; now it is bringing that experience to the PC market with the LCM-17w7 widescreen 17″ LCD monitor.

Sporting a clean whitewash look, smooth lines and curves, the Westinghouse LCM-17w7 “HD-Grade” LCD monitor is sure to fit any office or home environment. With 400 nits brightness and 600:1 contrast ratio, an average 10-15ms pixel response, and 170 degree view angle, the visuals should be pretty good on this 1280x768 resolution screen. And with a pure DVI input, the LCM-17w7 supports the latest PC and Mac computers on the market. Certainly, given the $299 pricetag, this could be a great monitor for anyone desiring a flat panel screen for computer use, DVD/movie viewing, or graphics work.
