Envision Intros 15″ and 17″ Price-Conscious LCD Monitors

Envision has launched a new line of quality LCD monitors at consumer-affordable pricing. Their new 15″ and 17″ displays should be decent for someone looking to upgrade, but not wanting to break the bank.

Envision EN7400e LCD Monitor

While I don’t have the full stats on the 15″ in front of me, the 17″ looks pretty good. The EN7400e runs a 16ms pixel response for fast games and videos, 450:1 contrast, 360 nits brightness, 140 degree horizontal and 125 degree vertical viewing angles, and 1280x1024 resolution.

(Previous model shown above…)
It has a standard VGA cable, so it’s good for the average consumer PC out there that isn’t yet equipped with a digital video (DVI) connection. It supports a variety of resolutions scaled to the display, including 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 640x350 and 720x400 (the last two are strange to say the least). It of course has an on-screen menu for configuring display options, like any modern monitor. And best of all, it weighs only 13 pounds, and uses under 45 watts of electricity.

The Envision EN7400e comes with a 3 year warranty, and is pricing out at around $249.99 on the street (versus the MSRP of $329), which is simply outstanding. I’ve only yet seen it at Outpost.com, but other places (like Amazon!) should be carrying it soon.

Read on for more details, and further info on the Envision EN5400e display as well.
