XP users can grab the latest driver direct from the ATI.com Catalyst XP direct-download page.
For those of you with older cards, or All-in-Wonder cards that haven’t upgraded drivers & Multimedia Center in a while, you’ll also want to grab MMC 9.x from the ATI Catayst Downloads pages. The 9.x releases have a number of useful features, including EasyLaunch (TV navigation interface), MPEG export, and improvements to EasyShare network playback.

I’ve never enjoyed upgrading ATI drivers. I’ve always seemed to get a headache from the process. Also, I never cared much for the overhead added by MMC. I don’t think it adds enough value to the user to offset the cost of installation, update, and resources used while running.
