Kids are Central

We believe children are the future of our church. In every Kids are Central department we believe in not only teaching them about ministry and how to apply it to their individual lives, but also giving them hands-on experience in ministry. Through teaching and involvement the child should begin to realize Jesus can be seen through his or her life.

The Kids are Central Ministries are under the direction of Children's Pastor Justin Kochs and wife Camille.

Children's Programs

KidZone & K2Zone

At Central Assembly we believe each individual child can experience God in a personal way. KidZone is for grades 3rd-6th and K2Zone includes K-2nd grade. Both meet at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings and join together for the Sunday evening service.

Sunday School

Sunday School is at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday morning. The elementary is divided by grade level. Classes meet in the newly remodeled 2nd & 3rd floors of the Educational Wing.

Preschool

Promise Place is our Preschool program for ages 3 - Pre-K. We believe preschoolers are a promise from God and our purpose is to partner with families to lay the foundation for belief and faith in Christ. We offer programs for Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening for the preschool age child.

Nursery

At Central, we offer several different nurseries to assist young children and their parents. Our infant and toddler nurseries are a cooperative effort of parents and volunteers to provide a loving, safe environment where babies can experience Godâ€™s love.

Missionettes

Missionettes is an excellent ministry for girls similar to Girl Scouts. They meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00p.m. This is offered for girls 3 years through 8th grade. Boys ages 3-5 are also included in this Wednesday night ministry.

Royal Rangers

Royal Rangers is an adventure and character-building program similar to Boy Scouts for boys and young men ages 5-17 years. Royal Rangers meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00p.m.
