Man-made global warming deniers are on a par...

... with child abusers of the most vile kind.

This from an Anglican Bishop, an obvious card carrying member of the Religious Left and the Church of Chicken Little:

People who fail to tackle climate change are acting like an Austrian man who locked his daughter in a cellar for 24 years, an Anglican bishop has said.

The Bishop of Stafford, Gordon Mursell, wrote in a parish letter that not confronting global warming meant people were "as guilty as" Josef Fritzl.

It meant future generations would be left in a futureless world, he said.

Mr Mursell added he was not accusing people of being child abusers but shocking analogies were needed.

In a letter featured in parish magazines in the Diocese of Lichfield, the bishop wrote: "Josef Fritzl represents merely the most extreme form of a very common philosophy of life: I will do what makes me happy, and if that causes others to suffer, hard luck.

I assume a crusade to put climate change deniers behind bars can't be too far behind.

In the mean-time, the crusade to educate the masses as to the fraud that is the global warming movement continues, this time via Reverend Sensing:

A technical paper written by Jeffrey A. Glassman, Ph.D. concludes that atmospheric CO2 is regulated by the oceans. From the abstract:

Throughout the past 420 millennia, comprising four interglacial periods, the Vostok record of atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration is imprinted with, and fully characterized by, the physics of the solubility of CO2 in water, along with the lag in the deep ocean circulation. Notwithstanding that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, atmospheric carbon dioxide has neither caused nor amplified global temperature increases. Increased carbon dioxide has been an effect of global warming, not a cause...

And from the paper's conclusion:

The discovery that the Vostok CO2 record is an effect of the oceanic solubility pump has profound effects on the science and on public policy.

Over those 420,000 years, warm ocean water has regulated the concentration of CO2 by release of this gas into the atmosphere. Because there is no trace of build–up of CO2 from forest fires, volcanoes, or the oceans themselves, cold waters must be scrubbing CO2 out of the air. Since there is no difference between manmade and natural CO2, anthropogenic CO2 is sure to meet the same fate.

To the extent that the analyst’s Vostok temperature trace represents a global atmosphere temperature, so does the concentration of CO2. Thus, CO2 is a proxy for global temperature, and attempting to control global temperatures by regulating anthropogenic CO2 is unfounded, futile, and wasteful.

Bold emphasis added for effect.

Bishops says something stupid.

That's pretty much all they do, why is this any different?

You're a bishop??

Mr. Freeberg, I almost spewed my soup on the screen.

As for the second article, I'm not surprised at all. I've always thought that the earth had its own way of regulating temperature and other things, whether by oceans or volcanos or whatever else.

This chicken little hysteria is the hugest joke in the world.

I think Rick did that very same thing first.

salvage just keeps leaving that same door...wide open...over and over again...

Actually guys, being 'brutally honest' about it, you man-made global warming deniers are on a par with a bunch or retards in a mental institution. Your pathetic naiveté and willingness to believe anything as long as the source is right wing enough leads you to posting stupid nonsense like this article by Dr. Jeffrey A. Glassman, an applied physicist and engineer with absolutely no expertise in climate science. You cherry pick one or two things and actually seem to think that you're refuted the entire IPCC and all of the major science organizations in the world. LOL.

we have met the enemy...and he is us, the real pogo said this back in the fourties.
P.T. Barnum said a sucker is born every minuite. He said this billions of minuits ago we are surrounded (and governed by) these these very same suckers, (both parties) Insanity is described as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Both parties are complicit in creating the situation we find ourselves in today. WHY?WHY?WHY? do we think any of these bastards will do a damn thing to rectify the problems they created?

"Your pathetic naiveté and willingness to believe anything so long as the source" agrees with you.

Right back at the last two of you.
