Every morning at about 6:30, my friend Linda Brown and I walk 2 1/2 miles. We try to do this in the evening also. This morning we started out right before sunrise. I had my camera and took a picture of daylight just breaking. Then suddenly a few seconds later the sun burst through the clouds and the dark sky. It was a beautiful sight! Fortunately I had my camera out of my pocket and took another picture. What really amazed me was how quickly the sun appeared. It was almost in an instant. WOW! I was reminded of the Scripture that tells us of the Lord's return to earth. Luke 21:27-28 says, "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen look up and lift up your heads , your redemption draws near." Taking these pictures this morning made me realize the importance of "being ready." The Scripture says Christ's return will be "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye." For an instant right before I snapped the second picture I thought I could Jesus in clouds. I know I was looking for Him. One of these days it will happen! Hope you enjoy these pictures.
