OBJECTIVE
The family-owned Bruschuk Bat Company required a web design and development partner to help them launch their new business as a Chicago-based manufacturer of high-end, high-quality, custom, handmade wooden baseball and softball bats. The new e-store was to be found at ChicagoBats.com.

SOLUTION
The BIRKEY.COM E-Store Engine was used as a foundation to design and launch a new, company info and online shopping e-store for this unique new start-up business. The web design reflects both an old-world craftsman feeling as well as contemporary sports oriented visuals. The product photography, also provided by BIRKEY.COM, allows shoppers to view the wooden bat products in an unusually high resolution and helpful level of detail.

The e-store also enables the ability for a shopper to upload a hand-written signature to be engraved by Chicago Bats on a custom engraved "signature" bat.

Other baseball and sports related accessories are also available within the store.

The online e-store content is managed by ChicagoBats.com staff using the BIRKEY.COM Backstage Content Management System. All products, descriptions, and related content can be added, edited or deleted at any time by the customer.

The new website is not merely an information tool, but serves as an itegrated and key tool in the Chicago Bats business and communication process.
