This is the magical stuff that the little brewery in Shiner, Texas uses to turn a Blonde into a Bock. It is a blend of base and roasted malts with 76% fermentability. Because it is almost black and a dry malt extract, it is a perfect colorant for beer. The lovibond rating falls between 3000 and 5000.
Usage: Add 1.5 oz to the boil with the extract.
