The VCN project is a Victorian Government initiative, founded by six cultural and historical centres including Museum Victoria and Federation Square. The VCN project links the resources of 700 organisations in Victoria’s cultural heritage into an online gateway and interactive kiosks. This project is currently underway, whereby ARES has been asked to provide a new enterprise portal for AWTA to communicate to its various stakeholders domestically and overseas.  ARES has delivered the initial EPiSERVER powered website and is currently undertaking a Stage 2 development whilst content population is being undertaken.

The mywebname site was developed as a portal website for AusRegistry to direct sales to accredited Registrars whilst also serving as an educational tool to grow the market.

Beconwood came to ARES looking to have a small CMS website developed for their immediate and future business needs. ARES implemented a simple but effective open-sourced CMS system with workflow which is written in .NET and has the capacity to be expanded as the business requirements at Beconwood change.

nabCapital Corporate had implemented a new SharePoint intranet application however were looking for assistance in developing a style and usage guide for the software for their entire department. ARES were contracted to undertake a review of the current information, system and usage and create recommendations on best-practice. At the completion of the project, ARES provided a final style-guide and usage guide for their new intranet.

The Australian Senate IT department were looking at upgrading their current stationary store and ordering system for use by the Senators and their aides into a fully realised e-Commerce solution built into their current intranet system. ARES were contracted to develop a specification documentation on how this could come to fruition, taking into account legacy systems and current restrictions. ARES provided a full scoping document to the Senate to put out to Tender with wireframes, business requirements and technical specification requirements included.

Learn to Play is a global music company which provides learning materials for all aspiring musicians. Learn to Play were looking to implement an online education system and were looking at options and possibilities in the current marketplace. ARES convinced LTP to undertake a two day scoping workshop with System Analysts in which time ARES worked collaboratively with LTP to scope the possible options for their basic requirements. ARES then provided a simple requirements document with system architecture for their review and a basic overview of possible costs for the development of the system.

Paveworld had an old ARES website for their products which was based in a simple static website. ARES undertook a redevelopment of their current website, converting it into a fully realised e-commerce website. Due to the nature of the current business, Paveworld wanted the choice to turn off the website’s shopping facilities. ARES customised the back-end of the off-the-shelf Media Chase ECF product and created a product catalogue website to the exact specifications that Paveworld but maintained full functionality for later use.
