JBQ Individual Awards
Each league stie will give awards for league play at the March meet. There are awards for each tournament. The JBQ program will award J's, B's, Q's, and the Master Seal awards. The Pee Wee program will award the J seal only. Quote Master 107 and A.I.M. awards are available to currently participating quizzers who qualify according to the following rules.
Discover Seal (J): Quizzer must correctly answer 20 of 30 randomly drawn 10-point questions.
Searcher Seal (B): Quizzer must correctly answer 25 of 30 randomly drawn 10-point questions and 15 of 20 randomly drawn 2o-point questions.
Achiever Seal(Q): Quizzer must correctly answer 28 of 30 randomly drawn 10-point questions, 18 of 20 randomly drawn 20-point questions, and 6 of 10 randomly drawn 30-point questions.
ADVANCED AWARDS
Master Seal
A quizzer must correctly answer 59 of 60 questions which may be (1)drawn at random from the entirety of the Fact-Pak mixed together or (2) randomly selected groups of each point value as follows:
(30) 10-point questions; (20) 20-point questions; (10) 30- point questions.
Whena quizzer earns the Master Seal, their church coordinator must inform the site coordinator fo the quizzer's name and the date they earned the award. Upon application (see web site www.nationaljbq.org or email jbq@ag.org for details), the National JBQ office will also send a congratulaory letter to the quizzer.
Quote Master Award
The Quote Master Awardis given to a quizzer who has earned their Master Seal and answers all quotation questions in the Fact-Pac in one sitting, missing not more than one. Quizzers must wait a minimum of 3 months after earning the Master Seal before attempting to earn the Quote Master. When a quizzer earns the Quote Master award, their church coordinator must inform the site coordinator of the quizzer's name and the date they earned it.
A.I.M. Award
The A.I.M. Award is given to a quizzer who has earned the Master Seal, the Quote Master Award, and answers al 576 questions in the Fact-Pac in one sitting, missing only one. This must be verified by the church's children's pastor or quiz coordinator in writing to the site coordinator. Quizzers must wait a minimum 3 months after earning the Quote Master Award before attempting to earn the A.I.M. Award. Whena quizzer earns the A.I.M. award, their church coordinator must inform the site coordinator of the quizzer's name and the date they earned it.
Please note: All three Advance Awards will be personalized and given at State Finals.
