Breaking Bread

Buttermilk Pie

Breaking Bread 1 cup sugar
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon butter
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
8-inch unbaked pie shell

Mix sugar, flour and add buttermilk with extract and slightly beaten egg. Blend well and pour into pie shell. Dot with butter and bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
