I could while away the hours
Conferrin’ with the flowers
Consultin’ with the rain
And my head, I'd be scratchin’
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

I've been tagged for a book meme by both Alastair and Joe. I've been in a rather dark mood the last few days, so my choices may be reflective of that fact. Plus, book memes are always rather embarrassing for me since I don't read on the level of most of my visitors. So, with a block of salt, here we go:

1. One book that changed your life:
The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, Tom Wolfe. It was the 60s; I was young and impressionable. Looking back, I'd say it was a significant influence on my path in life.
2. One book that you’ve read more than once:
To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee
3. One book you’d want on a desert island:
Porpoise Training For Dummies
4. One book that made you laugh:
All Creatures Great and Small (series), James Herriot
5. One book that made you cry:
All Creatures Great and Small (series), James Herriot
6. One book that you wish had been written:
The Beer and Cheese Diet
7. One book that you wish had never been written:
The Koran
8. One book you’re currently reading:
The Case For Covenant Communion, Gregg Strawbridge Ed.
9. One book you’ve been meaning to read:
Paul in Fresh Perspective, N.T. Wright
10. Now tag five people:
Troy
David
Steven
Cliff
Craig

*Special tag: Jeff

Pretty lame, eh?

I'm here for the book party! And since you are a fellow femal blogger I had to comment.

I put Angela's ashes as both my cryer and my laugher.

I loved the "Beer and Cheese" book idea. I'm more about the Whine and Cheese though.

I'm lovin' following all the "tags". I'm getting some good book ideas for our book club @ HPC.
