Books You Ask?
Well well, I've been tagged by Barb, which actually makes me feel kind of special. Her blog is pretty swell and being tagged by her is equally swell.
I was an English and Philosophy student for a few years before I became interested in theology. Therefore, I really need two lists, but I haven't got answers for all the questions on an exclusively theological list. I'll do my best. Here goes:
1. One book that changed your life: Through New Eyes by James B. Jordan
2. One book that you’ve read more than once: The Great Gatsby F. Scott Fitzgerald
3. One book you’d want on a desert island: Psalms by The Company of King David
4. One book that made you laugh: Catch 22 by Joseph Fletcher
5. One book that made you cry: East of Eden by John Steinbeck
6. One book that you wish had been written: Signs and Seals and Why They Go Together by John Calvin
7. One book that you wish had never been written: What Saint Paul Really Said by N T Wright
8. One book you’re currently reading: Arius: Heresy and Tradition by Rowan Williams
9. One book you’ve been meaning to read: The Doctrine of God by John Frame
10. Now tag five people:
Jacob
Arin
Mark K
Sean
John

Awww, shucks. I chose bloggers who have cool blogs whom I have yet to blog-roll due to laziness. You rate way beyond my miserable sphere! ;)
Just out of curiosity, why do you wish N. T. Wright hadn't written What Saint Paul Really Said? I enjoyed that book myself.
Ah, you've found my trick. I too liked the book, however, its existence has made life more trouble than it needs to be. WSPRS seems to be the only Wright book that his critics are able to read, and frankly I think that he has other stuff that is more appropriate for that discussion.
I recommend his Paul book to all those who want to know what Wright's brand of NPP is all about.
I've responded to your tag, but not at my old site (which is tempermental and doesn't appear to be up today) but at my new site.
