Discount Extended on Wealthy Affiliate Accreditation Courses

The discount for Wealthy Affiliate's new Accreditation Courses was supposed to end today but Kyle and Carson decided to extend it for another 2 weeks.

Quoted straight from the Wealthy Affiliate Forums, here's what Carson had to say on their decision to extend the discount.

Extension of the WA Accreditation Course Discount

Kyle and I have been bombarded with a slew of emails from both members of WA, and non-members asking if we could extend the discount on the courses for longer than the initial 1 week.

We want everyone that is interested in being accredited in Article Marketing & SEO or Pay-per-click marketing, to have the chance to have access the Courses.

Amidst these tough economic times, we've decided to extend the discount for another 2 weeks.

On another note, we have also been receiving absolutely great feedback about the courses and I'm seeing a lot of "Action" taking place. Task & Lesson based learning really helps illustrate how to take action with what you've learned within the courses.

I am enjoying the message from many of you who are diligently working through the courses and getting that thrill of seeing things come together!

Talk soon,

Carson

Wealthy Affiliate Accreditation Courses

I know I'm late with this so I must apologize. I went to Barbados to relax for a week and I just didn't check any emails or get on the computer or do anything IM related.

Before I went, I told you that Wealthy Affiliate was introducing their newest feature.

Well, while I was gone the features were launched. There are two of them.

Just like real university, Kyle and Carson has developed two accreditation courses to make things easier for Wealthy Affiliate members. The courses aim to take a newbie/intermediate marketer to an expert in each of the fields.

PPC Accreditation courses

The first of the two is the PPC Accreditation course which literally walks you through the whole process of setting up and profiting from PPC marketing.

Like I said, the courses aren't free but if you really need hand holding then this lead you in the right direction with PPC. On top of the one time fee that you pay for each course you get the following absolutely free with your purchase:

BONUS 1: A copy of Beating Adwords (no cost) - $67 Value
BONUS 2: A copy of Inside the List (no cost) - $67 Value
BONUS 3: Access to Lifetime Updates
BONUS 4: Full Support (of course)

PPC Marketing Accreditation details available here.

Article Marketing/SEO Accreditation Course

If you prefer to use free techniques, then this course will help you do set up profit pulling article marketing campaigns. Just like the PPC Accreditation Course, its a hand holder type course and you get free bonuses as well.

BONUS 1: A copy of Who Loves Money (no cost) - $77 value
BONUS 2: A copy of Inside the List (no cost) - $67 value
BONUS 3: 100 PLR Articles
BONUS 4: 1000 Hot Article Keywords
BONUS 5: Access to Lifetime Updates
BONUS 6: Full Support (of course)

Article Marketing Accreditation details available here.

Now seeing that the courses aren't free, they are optional. The 8 week action plan is still available but it contains both PPC and Article marketing information.

The difference is that the Accreditation courses will make you an expert in whichever field you chose and they are set out as weekly task based courses where you have to complete each weeks given tasks before you can continue.

This combination of bite size information and taking action should be easy to follow and digest.

Kyle and carson were originally going to offer them outside Wealthy Affiliate but decided to keep it within the membership so that Wealthy Affiliates would have a clear advantage.

If you aren't a member though you can sign up for each of the courses as a bundle with WA membership only until Wednesday the 19th.

Click here to take advantage of this special time-sensitive offer.

Now there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't join Wealthy Affiliate.

PPC "Classroom" on Wealthy Affiliate?

In my last post, I mentioned that Wealthy Affiliate was going to be launching a brand new feature. I'm not sure what it is yet but Kyle and Carson did release the following image in the members section:

The most I can tell you for now, is that its geared towards making expert PPC marketers out of Wealthy Affiliate members and its going to be the first paid membership INSIDE Wealthy affiliate.

That means that it will not be available for free even if you are a Wealthy Affiliate member. I'm thinking it will be something like PPC Classroom and Kyle did mention the word "accreditation".

Its going to be open on November 12th and as usual when I get more word about it I'll let you know.

November 15th Edit: "Taking You To School" details.

Are Your PPC Campaigns In Danger?

Kyle just made a post on the Official Wealthy Affiliate blog about the effects of the ecomony on your PPC campaigns.

His findings are based on real data that was pulled from one of his campaigns. In case you didn't know Kyle and Carson are qualified experts when it comes to PPC and the authors of Beating Adwords so you should definitely listen to them.

Kyle also makes mention of a brand new feature that they will be releasing in the coming weeks that will help many Wealthy Affiliate members become expert PPC marketers.

As always, your Wealthy Affiliate Insider will keep you up to date on this new feature when more information is available.

You can read Kyle's post by visiting the Official Wealthy Affiliate Blog.

5 Steps To Becoming An Expert in Your Niche

A lot of beginning marketers usually have trouble finding a niche. Once you have found one though, a bigger problem arises.

More than likely you're not an expert especially if you chose something that you know can make a lot of money but just aint too familiar with.

You don't want to look like an idiot to your subscibers. In some cases they probably know more than you do.

So how do you become an expert in your niche market?

Here are 5 steps you should take to get familiar with the ins and outs of the niche you want to market to.

1. Finding the authority in your niche can give you content ideas, teach you the lingo and insight into what your niche market wants.

Authority sites are usually those sites that keep popping up when you search different keywords related to their respective niches.

The easy way to do this is to do searches on a broad keyword.

For example, I search for the following broad keywords and got the following sites in the #1 position:

weight loss - webmd.com/diet gaming - ign.com golf - golf.com computer problems - pcsupport.about.com

You've probably heard of all these sites before, haven't you?

2. Become a Member of a Forum

The ideal authority site will usually have a built in forum or community on their site. If their is none then you could always do a search for "niche + forum" on google for standalone forums related to your niche.

You should always go where the people in your niche gather online. This would give you so much insight on how your niche communicates, what they talk about, the problems they have and even the things they are already buying.

Don't jump in and start promoting your stuff like most novices though. This will only destroy your credibility even before you develop some. Remember your aim here at this point is to become an expert, not to make money.

3. Read and Subscribe To Niche Related Blogs.

Have you ever seen those kung fu movies where the sensei reluctantly trains a totally unskilled student who goes on to become even more powerful than his master?

Well, there is nothing that says there can only be one expert in your niche. Even if someone is already dominating a niche you can still become a force to be reckoned with.

More than likely someone blogging on a particular niche is already an expert. Find that blogger, read and subscribe to their blog. Also read and leave comments as well. By becoming interactive you will feel as though you're already a part of this niche market.

You can find niche related blogs by visiting the blog directories of Technorati, BlogCatalog and other blog directories online.

4. Magazine subscriptions

Almost all niches have a magazine dedicated to it. Magazines are great ways to find content ideas and the advertisers have already done their research based on demographic, buying trends and other factors so the products are usually very targetted.

One of the problems that a lot of people have is that they run out of ideas. Magazines are usually published on a monthly basis so if you have a subscription, with 30 days in a month, there will always be something to talk about in your newsletter, on your blog and to add content to your website.

You can search through the catalogs at Magazines.com and subscribe to a magazine in your niche.

5. Watch Videos on The Subject.

Videos are great ways to get the point across. Watching videos are so much easier than reading long articles and will save you a lot of time.

Look for how to videos and also look for videos on Youtube. Later on when you're an expert, you will also want to get into making videos for the reasons stated above.

You really don't want to leave video out of the equation either. Other than providing you with knowledge, they're a great way to capture your audience. The stats say that 71% of internet users view about 235 minutes of video online, most of them in the 18 - 35 demographic.

Follow all these steps and you will have enough information to be taken seriously. Don't get too wrapped up in knowing everything that you wait too long to take action, though.

There will still be lots to learn way after you start that campaign.

Secret Affiliate Code 2 from Craig Beckta

Just listened to a great interview with Alex Goad and Wealthy Affiliate member Craig Beckta.

Lots of lessons to be learned in that interview and the value was exceptional and I would pay for it. Thats how good it is. Makes me look forward to actually getting Craigs new product, Secret Affiliate Code 2 which is the follow up to his first product of the same name.

The interview talks about how to become an authority figure and how to build credibility in any niche very quick.

For now the interview is free so go download it now and you can look forward to my review of Secret Affiliate Code 2 when I get my hands on it.

Secret Affiliate Code 2 will be available on October 21 at 2pm EST.

Free Web Page Headers From the Sharezone

Whether you're sprucing up a blog or building a website or landing page, a good header graphic can really make a difference in the look and feel of your site.

The kicker? Its really hard to find free website header graphics that look good and fit the theme of your site. I know because I had a hard time finding anything on Google.

Most people just pay to get them custom built but there are also ways to get free website header graphics.

During my search, I found a great gallery that offers totally free website header graphics. All you do is sign up and search the gallery. You can then download and modify them as you wish.

Your other option is to make your own. I thought this would be hard to do but not after I saw the following video.

The video was done by Kent, a Wealthy Affiliate member, and is one of the top rated items in the WA Sharezone.

This page contained an embedded video. Click here to view it.

I've actually use this video (not the youtube version), to build a couple website headers and I think I did somewhat of a good job. I don't think I would have attempted it if I didn't see this video and the cool thing is I improvise and come up with my own techniques as well.

Some of the resources I use and recommended for building webpage headers are:

Photoshop - Photo editing software (kinda pricey)
Gimp - Free alternative to Photoshop StockXchange - Free photos you can use Picnik - Online Photo Editing App. MWSnap - Free screen capture software.
