This page seems to be pretty popular, so I suppose it’s time I put up something more interesting.
About vapourtrails.ca
This site is a diverse collection of subjects that interest me - maybe some might interest you. In general, it’s an odd mix of observations on various topics including software and the environment, notes about recent trips and updates about projects I’m working on.
The technical details could be long & boring, so instead I’ll summarize:

About Jerome
I currently live in beautiful Vancouver, BC but have travelled far and wide across this country. Places I’ve called home include Ottawa, Cole Harbour (Nova Scotia, for the education of all you non-Maritimers), Québec City, Montréal, and Thornhill.
By day I’m a consulting engineer in industrial automation, but by night I spend far too much time on the computer. Lately much of that time has been spent working on a certain weblogging platform. I also try to get outside as much as possible, love cycling, hiking, canoeing, great food and long walks on the beach. With my wife, of course.
About the name
But enough about me, what you really want to know is why “vapourtrails”? In a sense, it’s a metaphor for life: make an impact, but one that fades gradually and leaves no trace.
Back to the boring stuff…
