Standing on Principle

Conservatives in the House took a bold approach defeating the bailout and standing firmly in support of Market Principles and against creeping socialism. Conservative talk show hosts riled conservatives up to call their conservative representatives in Congress and demand "No Bailout!" Until it hit their pocketbook, upon which they acted like true conservatives and said the hell with principles!

"I started hearing from a lot of people who lost money on their investments thanks to the big drop on Wall Street yesterday" said Rep. Steven C La Tourette, Republican of Ohio, who voted against the plan. The switchboards are lighting up with calls from Really Stupid People who had a very sudden change of heart. This is hypocricy "so absolute that it becomes a kind of sincerity."

As credit continues to tighten Beakerkin acknowledges that derivitives are very complex financial instruments but I don't think this addressed the real problem. Over-accumulation and the decreasing rate of profit continues to be the underlying crisis facing capitalism and financialization is but a symptom of a much broader malaise. This is not a "bump" or "mere correction".

If the bailout isn't passed, the world economy will go into recession. If it isn't the major industrial countries will go into stagflation.

I agree Ren. Shock doctrine or not, this is not a manufactured crisis, this is a major fuck up.We have no reason to trust their analysis of course, but I know fear when I see it.

Of course Commies delude themselves into thinking the next crisis will be the one that ushers in Marx. Guess what else dies next higher ed. Student loans will dry up and there will be fewer jobs for Communist hacks like Ayers, Chomsky and Kovel.Of course the Bolsheviks at the failing MSM media outlets will be next.

Dream on comwads and prepare to join Hugo.

Markets advance and fall but communists remain a pimple on the butt of the human condition.

I know fear when I see it

It's the fear of a liberal banker who lended all his money to a welfare recipient. Now it's the liberal banker who will default on his mortgage and join his friend under the Brooklyn Bridge.

In related news, Obama's campaign just lost two of his best donors...

Beakerkin: Speaking of bank closings, your trite analysis and insults, can't be taken to the bank. The remark I made about the bailout happens to be true.

Having to get government assistance, is a sjhowing of the whole bankruptcy of the capitalist system.

Marxists don't say this or that capitalist crisis, will bring socialism. Last week people who don't think of themselves as people who demonstrate against anything, protested against the bailout in NYC.

This is the worst downturn of my lifetime. John McCain said the same thing. He was alive in during the depression.

Sonia: I don't even know if even Beakerkin agrees with your analysis.

It's not a crisis of credit, it's one of overproduction of goods. The mortgages are like a thimble of the whole problem.

Troutsky: Imagine a Chinese capitalist, experiencing his first capitalist crisis?

As a communist you know nothing about
the economy and markets. The market is more resilient than you presume and ups follow downs.

The US will weather this storm but your commie state is going to crumble as the down turn pushes gas prices lower. It is a matter of time before he is hung by his heels like Il Duce.

Watching the carnage in higher ed and at the MSM will be fun. There are plenty of stories about students who can no longer afford to pay the outlandish costs of higher ed driven up by Bolshevik feather bedding.

What was that word you said traitor
"OVER PRODUCTION". This is quite amusing as your idiocy produces shortages of housing in even the best of times. The USA will get out
of this crisis and the next because
Capatalism is resilient.

If you want to see shortages go to Caracas, Havana, Zimbabwe or North Korea. Your handiwork is there as people starve or goods are scarce.

People will tighten their belts in America but we will emerge. I heard these rants after 9-11 and I heard the same rants after a recession in the 80's. I heard these rants in the 70's but America comes back each time.

Who claims that government intervention is a sign of bankruptcy of Capitalism? This is what responsible governance is all
about. As a Marxist you are an expert on failure and are wrong as usual.

Commies should note their favorite Nazi LWB/John Brown is blaming them Joooos for the bank failures. Alas
entryism requires that commies embrace Nazis. Or is it Nazis practicing entryism on commies?

Ups and downs, ups and downs.
Sonias liberal banker and Beaks Bolshevik are the same caricature as John Browns Joos. A convenient some ONE to blame, rather than a system. Capitalism is premised on an equilibrium which becomes more and more elusive.

The Chinese will be better positioned to impose authoritarian control. Nationalism is fading in the west.

Beakerkin: Your at it again. Putting words in my mouth, so you don't have to reply to real arguments. Did I ever say capitalism wasn't resilient? Where is where I said that? It is nothing new for you to make up positions to atribute to me.

Give it up comwad you got your head handed to you again. Communism doesn't work and the Chinese and Russians are in the strongman model.

Troutsky

Sonia's liberal banker is a real person whose malfeasance cost tax payers millions. My Bolsheviks are vermin whose fundamentalist bloodlust killed 100,000,000. You seem to forget the historical record provides ample reasons to oppose all forms of communism.

John Brown/LWB's Jooo is loathed for existing. Ren and Graemeful Dead the marijuana Marxist continue
to link an actual Nazi whose rhetoric is communist approved. Your own antisemitism is quite noticeable. You are a follower of an evil system thats central point is antisemitism.

Now bankers are a bunch of liberals. Sonia's post was racist period. Blaming the victim is your modus operanti.
